"Yea," she said, a somber note, "I'm starting to get that idea. Stopped trying to avoid it, run from it, trying to learn to deal with it. Not quite sure how that works yet though but," she smiled, "doubt I'll be buddying up with Vandil or the Inquisitors like I can those spiders anytime soon. And.."

She'd paused, a breath, "With Liua, you should. I'll be there for her too, anytime, of course. Haven't spent much time with her but," she shrugs, "you know, she does remind me of where I was in my life at her age. Honestly, she's probably doing a lot better than me. A lot sooner too. Not that I'm.." she shook her head, "geeze, talking like I'm half dead already. Busy life of jumping planets and crime does that to ya, I guess," she chuckled lightly.
