The Witch stopped. "I... study. And read. A lot. Mainly old texts I was able to salvage from my homeworld. Drink tea." Then a slight curl. "I enjoy making jewelry, both mundane and... special." A hand went up to her amulet, showcasing the handiwork.

Vaya nodded, seemingly taking Juri at her word. "My field notes are confidential without prior informed consent," she said, and in case that wasn't clear, she gave a just-the-corners-of-the-mouth smile and drew a finger across her lips like the applicator of a tube of sealant, the “glued shut” gesture of silence.

She stifled a small laugh, covering her mouth with her hand. "Thanks. I do appreciate that, Vaya."

Shaking her head, and then dropping the idea a bit, "Sorry, that was weird, I was just looking to give you an out for us to go do... Whatever else, help get you some distraction."
