[Vaya Mer'darrow]

Vaya's jaw dropped. She held up her recording 'binocs without a word, glancing at the Jedi qua Jedi among them. This is advanced holographic display technology! And this place hasn't been out of use for millennia, someone was here less than two decades ago! Her head spun.

[Verse Aura]

"Wait, that's not the co--"

But the shields deactivated. Huh. She didn't know anything about Sixth Line or Dark Ops or anything like that. Sounded pretty scary to her, but it was a long time ago, who knew what had been necessary back then. Of course one might argue that it should've been something the Jedi kept around... but that didn't even occur to Verse.

And then along came... a hologram?

"Wait, 16 years ago? Guardian? Resting?"

[Ru'ni Wayne]

Ru'ni tried to remember the childhood stories his people told. He didn't recall any mention of his people visiting the moon, or many tales of it in general.

"Wasn't us...I don't think. At least not the tribes proper." It kind of went without saying, but the words came out on their own, without thought.

[Jedi Master Surro]

"I do not believe..." Qareme started before the woman suddenly appeared and spoke. That surprised her, but she didn't think it was good to correct her about the sixth line comment yet anyway....

"We are Jedi. Forgive me, but who are you?"

“I suppose you must be new recruits, well Jedi, I am Jedi Master Surro, specifically I am an advanced holocron design tied to the Temple. I am a synthesis of AI and Holocron command module. Jedi Grand Master Zyn designed me herself, well the AI systems, my personality matrix was patterned after Jedi Master Surro,” she responded.

“This is the Sixth Line Jedi Temple and your home for the foreseeable future to train and hone your skills to better serve the Republic.”

[Qareme Torth]

"I see."

There was a pause, as she considered what to ask next.

"Who is your current guardian? May we speak with her?"

[Sinnya]

“Yeah, uh... you’re behind on the news, Master Surro.” Sinnya’s lekku twitched in a distinctively perplexed rhythm.

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus cleared his throat. "And could you tell us who last visited the temple, sixteen years ago?"

Sure, Verse had asked, but Verse was always asking more questions than the Masters could handle. Possible even AI masters. Better to repeat her question, just to be sure.

[Jenna Karath]

Having been in the back of the ship, away from the others so her antics didn't disturb anyone. Having someone else flying really didn't sit right with her, much to hate and little to love about not being in control.

When they landed, she'd taken her time to follow the others but casually listened along and stayed close to her brother.

[Jedi Master Surro]

"Guardian Malvik is now waking up, she will join us shortly."

"Follow me," she started walking.

“Yeah, uh... you’re behind on the news, Master Surro.” Sinnya’s lekku twitched in a distinctively perplexed rhythm.

"What do you mean?" she said casually.

Petrus cleared his throat. "And could you tell us who last visited the temple, sixteen years ago?"

"Guardian Malvik returned from her mission, it is not uncommon for her to take periodic scouting missions to the surface. Gather supplies, assess the galactic situation," she responded. "She should be more diligent in filing her reports though so my data files are kept current."

[Qareme Torth]

Qareme followed, allowing those who had asked their questions to fill the AI in.

"Thank you for your assistance, Master Surro. If there is anything we can fill you in on we shall. A lot has changed."

There was a pause.

"As you have introduced yourself, I shall return. This one is known as Qareme."

[Verse Aura]

"Uh, guys," she walked along, a concerned look on her face, "that doesn't sound good. That can't really be, someone from back then right? Maybe someone broke in and is pretending to be this Malvik?"

She didn't know how clever the AI was, if it was even capable of understanding what she was saying; maybe not, if it had been fooled by interlopers pretending to be people from thousands of years ago.

[Petrus Karath]

"Petrus Karath." Petrus said. He cleared his throat. "Ummm... actually, I'm related to Daz, if that means anything to you. Distantly."

He studied the AI closely. It probably had a very good sabaac face...

[Sinnya]

"What do you mean?" she said casually.

“Uh... just, the Jedi and the Republic and all, it’s kind of a mess. There’s definitely not an Empress anywhere. Not that I know of.”

She’d seen the Emperor in holo broadcasts, which made her pretty darn confident about the Empress bit. No thanks... even for a human...

[Ru'ni Wayne]

Having been one of the more long term Bankorians in the group, Ru'ni tried to recall if he'd ever heard the name Malvik before.

Still keeping one eye on Tirali in case she tried anything funny while people were diatracted by this...projection.

[Jedi Master Surro]

“Of course it is, I assisted with the birth of her child. Of course this was no place to raise her, power reserves are limited for now until we receive full activation from the Jedi Council. Guardian Malvik has been a good friend over the millenia,” she said warmly.

“Greeting little Drascovina Liuacinia was a high point in my existence,” she said casually..

Producing holo images of a little dark haired baby girl.

“I assure you I have not been fooled.”

“Uh... just, the Jedi and the Republic and all, it’s kind of a mess. There’s definitely not an Empress anywhere. Not that I know of.”

"Then the Force is with us, she was a powerful Sith," she responded.

"Jedi Knight Daz Hoshin? I trained him personally, I expect great things of you then," she added.

Vaya frantically paged through her notes on her datapad, but muttered to the crowd in general, "Maybe let's not baffle the poor thing, ancient constructs can be unstable." Her head popped up.

"Master Surro, Vaya Mer'darrow, uh, a companion to Padawan Karath, it's a great honor to be here. I seem to have misplaced my chronometer, can you tell me the day and year?"

[Dapper Dog]

She rattles off a date that corresponds to 3611 BBY.

[Lucinia Malvik]

There are frantic footsteps and then a curse, “Bloody stupid heels!”

“Maker preserve me, a Malvik is never supposed to be late… mother is surely rolling in her grave. Bloody stupid…” a woman with curly brown hair appeared and smoothed out her gown and said, “Hello Sixth Line… Je-di?”

“Master Surro these are not Sixth Line, they look like padawans and some… primitive Aznuri… I knew I should have updated your databanks… bloody hell. I will do it this time, I swear,” she said and then regained her composure.

“Hello, I am Guardian Lucinia Malvik, daughter of Byron Mik, Jedi Knight and Sith Lord, Drascovina Malveaux, and yes I realize my name is different I blame my infernal parents.”

“Now please tell me what the hell you are doing here?” she said dryly.

[Sinnya]

“Exploring an abandoned temple. At least that was the idea.” Sinnya, arms crossed, regarded the woman warily. She was a little vague on the details but she had the strong impression this person ought to have died a long time ago.

[Vaya Mer'darrow]

"Uh, hello, Guardian Lucina, love to say more, but first, can you confirm or deny that it's been..." she thought about calendar systems and did some quick math, "forty-two years since the Treaty of Coruscant?" said Vaya, her voice rising in pitch as things went very, very far askew from anything she had expected.

Wait, do I look like a Padawan or an Anzuri?

[Lucinia Malvik]

"Forgive Master Surro her chronometer is... anyone it should be <current date>, right give or take a few years, I have been asleep for 16 years so forgive me, technically high grade life suspension developed by the Gree but, bloody hell I have a headache," she responded.

"And you are?"

[Jedi Master Surro]

"My systems are at nominal performance," Master Surro responded.

[Qareme Torth]

Qaremes eyes widened at that.

So long ago, and everything is still active?

"Thank you Master Surro. We shall..." Qareme started, then suddenly a woman appeared in front of hem, sounding quite annoyed. The large Zabrak lowered head in respect.

"Master Malvik, this one is called Qareme. Forgive us our interruption, we learnt of this temple and believed it abandoned."

There was a pause.

"If you have been asleep for sixteen years, then you are unaware of the current situation with the Jedi Order?"

[Petrus Karath]

Wow... this is crazy... Petrus cleared his throat.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Guardian Lucinia. Uh..." He spread his hands. "I guess I'm related to your sorta-uncle? Daz? A long-descendant. Still got the red hair, though." He pointed, probably unnecessarily. "And this is my sister, Jenna."

He cleared his throat again. "I've seen visions of your parents. They seemed..." he paused a moment, "-well, I guess the term is houses on fire? Anyway... just in case any of this matters to you."
