With agreement on destroying the droids and risking the data, Djanik entered the command to the power shunt.

Watching the camera, he hoped it would show three destroyed droids, so they could get on to hunting down the Disciple.

(Jabber may want to stim some more beforehand to avoid getting auto crit? Or is it not worth it?)

Beyond the door was the lobby which was sheared off and opened into a vast chasm, there was a bridge but as the door slides open it blasts apart and collapses into the darkness below. There is a lower crossing about twenty meters down, a natural stone bridge and then another climb up.

The gap is about 15 meters across and besides the walk way below there does not seem to be a bottom to the gulf. On the opposite side is a cavern complex with another bulkhead.

The bulkhead slides open and three gangsters peer out with blaster rifles and they all hear gas filling the chamber the heroes are currently in and moving towards them.

OOC: Vigilance check for Initiative, the room is filling with gas if they stay on this side without climbing down they will suffer 3 strain at the end of their turn. It is an Average Athletics check to climb down and another one to climb up on the other side. The other side is considered Long for Movement and Range purposes.

One squad of minions three strong will be shooting at them. At the end of the NEXT round their numbers will be filled up to three! Meaning if they all are taken out on Round 1 it will be Round 3 before they are refilled. Spending Destiny for checks on the first round. They will flee when someone reaches the other ledge where the gangsters are.

The sheer size of it all was a surprise, but not as big as a surprise as the gas. Dove held a hand over her covered mouth... she would have to get her breath-mask on to avoid that problem.

Djanik assessed the situation, taking in the room, the enemies, and the risks at play.

With a frustrated shake of his head, he dove forward to the edge of the ledge, ducking behind some rubble. (Maneuver to ledge)(+2 strain to go into cover)

"Daunt, Dove! We've gotta get a foothold on the far side! Dak, grab some cover and pin them down! Jabber, don't die!"

A series of quick assessments. Accurate, delivered with a calm, firm voice. Perhaps it was bossy, but it also gave immediate order to the chaos.

(advantage to boost next roller, free maneuvers for Dove, Jurdak, Daunt if they spend 1 strain)

It turned into a hot moment of managing her resources. First, breathmask - she'd be in big trouble if she started inhaling this unknown gas. Who knew what sort of effect it would have on them in time... hopefully, they'd be able to get some masks for those missing on the other side.

Next, Jabber needed something with more range than his pistols, if he was gonna give cover-fire. She didn't feel like running out there without some of that. "Here, take this." She held out the blaster rifle for the Jawa to take as she took cover next to him.
