Juri had the medical data. She knew of the chop shop. She didn't like it but time was of the essence.

The Witch approached the door, and announced herself.

A man pleased with a single arm to a doctor and she shrugged and said, “Sorry bub, no creds no arm, come back when you got money.”

“Hey,” the woman said addressing Juri, “Cash up front and we don't take IOUs, and no you can’t pay in spice.”

[Juri Saizesh]

"How about payment in making sure a plague doesn't wipe out everone on this planet." There was an edge of danger to her words, an unspoken threat.

"I'm a doctor, and I need the lab."

[Dapper Dog]

"And I'm a doctor and don't give two kriffs, especially if you want to use my lab. 500 creds," she asked.

[Juri Saizesh]

"And I work for Crimson Dawn. There's two options. We use your lab to formulate this cure, or this plague gets out and your pile of credits won't matter because you and everyone you know turns into a ravenous monster." Her terth bared, the Witch was prepared to be as coercive as possible.

[Dapper Dog]

She stared hard and then offered a hand sign of the Crimson Dawn, one that Juri knew to show her affiliation.

[Juri Saizesh]

Juri folliwed the signal, that feeling in the pit of her stomach that always happened whenever she had to use their aid.

"Sorry. I'm a bit anxious about this job."

[Dapper Dog]

She led her back, "You're safe sister. So what's this plague you trying to solve?"

"Profitable? Chance we can weaponize it?"

[Juri Saizesh]

"Ancient. Czerka tried to weaponize it. Every time they tried they lost control. And the creators of it were wiped out." She shook her head. "You'd be damning yourselves to even attempt it. This things needs to be destroyed and all memory if it wiped out from the Galaxy."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well damn... fine," she said bitterly.

She brought her into the lab, it's well put together and clean. "I got some time to kill, what do you need?"

[Juri Saizesh]

"Access to a clean room. Quarantine procedures just in case something happens." She pursed her lips. "An open mind in case some more... esoteric means are used. We're developing an anti-viral to counter something that a long lost order created for pure terror." She looked to other doctor, and produced the data she had been given.

"We have to work backwards from this. This must be destroyed after we succeed."

[Dapper Dog]

"Now this sounds like interesting, so let's get on it," she responded.

OOC: Medicine check at Daunting with 2 setback due to arcane origins but 2 upgrades from data and a boost die for the lab. I'll flip a Destiny.

She nodded, and they proceeded.

For the Triumph, not only is the cure made and ready, it also acts as a vaccine to the uninfected?

The duo create a vaccine and cure, it's a work of art.

OOC: Dr. Die secretly keeps a copy of the notes for herself, she is just too greedy and curious.

She looked at the work. The destruction of all the data (as far as she knew), and the preservation of the cure. She looked to Dr. Die. "Thank you, for everything. We've saved lives today." Her voice quiet, humble, as she sent the message to the ones she knew were infected.

"Should I ever be needed for anything medical, obviously you all know how to get a hold of me."

[Dapper Dog]

"We do, we might need you soon it all depends on how things go," she responded.
