Dove hadn't exactly commissioned Slicer gear, seemed to be she wanted data spikes more then that. A good way to familiarize yourself with this sort of thing was to start at the beginning though.

Gathering some of the scrap he had been been working with the day before he went to work. Hopefully he'd be able to put something together that worked, and didn't weigh half a ton.
