[LA 6] Triage

[Sacha Ordo]

Unsurprisingly enough, not all of the escapes from the Empires culling of the Resistance in Rygor and Jaklu had been without bloodshed. Dealing with violence was a natural part of life for a Mandalorian... and that included dealing with the injuries in the aftermath. Sacha was no doctor, but she could manage to help the more well trained people. She moved among the injured, checking bandages and making sure no one was showing signs of infection that needed treatment.

[Ru'ni Wayne]

Less successful than Sacha's medical skills, were Ru'ni's words of encouragement. He tried to keep up the morale of the injured soldiers, but his words were falling on deaf ears. Perhaps some of the soldiers blamed the Aznuri for their predicament.

"If they'd just given the Empire what they wanted..."

"Maybe they would've left us alone..."

Ru'ni sighed sadly as he looked around, hoping that even if they had their doubts in his people, they would still believe in the cause.

Juri was angry. But rather than letting it smolder, she channeled it to something productive. Working to treat the injured. As she worked, she would find her attention drawn to a certain Mandalorian.

She grinned, and approached. "Sacha. How has meditation been working for you?"

"Juri!" Sache greeted, her voice warm and cheerful at seeing her friend, reaching out to take her hands. "Well... Very well. I'm finally starting on my armor, and I think I'm coming at it in a whole new way because of your advice. Both the armor-crafting and the meditation."

She glanced over at the other person present, noting the expression. Her own couldn't be seen, but her voice was serious and understanding. "Hey... You okay?" She felt okay to be the person asking. The Mandalorians and Aznuri shared some experiences in that regard to the Empire now, after all.

[Ru'ni Wayne]

Ru'ni heard the voice coming from the helmeted...woman? He wasn't sure, the voice distortion was difficult for him to determine.

Turning to face Sacha, he nodded and straightened his posture a little. "Yes, and no." He replied with a crooked smile. "But the Aznuri endure. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your people's encampment. There's a lot of that going around apparently."

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak was no doctor but his knowledge of plants and herbs helped him make a few pain killing mixtures and he knew how to field bind a wound.

[Daunt]

Daunt's poise was exemplary for all those who felt and displayed anxiety, depression or discomfort. He stood by Juri as her silent guardian, greeting those who approached with a nod and reassuring smile. There seemed to be a new quality to him, though difficult to pinpoint outright.

Dak finished doing a rough wound dressing and saw people gathering to talk he headed that way "Hey Juri you might want to look back over some of my dressings, they'll be ok for a while but a proper doc wouldnt hurt."

He saw Sacha and gave her a smile wiping his hands with a cloth "Hey there good to see you mando, glad you made it."

She skipped past the hands, wrapping her arms around the neck of the Mandalorian in her armor, giving a warm embrace, grateful for seekng her. "That makes me so happy to hear, Sacha! I am sure you will find the result is rewarding, no matter what comes out on the other end.

Noting how she looked to the Aznuri, she stepped back, hands folded behind her back, though she did catch a glimpse of Daunt, smiling at him.

Sacha's arms, originally going for her hands, wrapped around Juri's waist automatically instead and she returned the hug with great warmth. "I'm so happy to see you," she said, voice heavy with emotion. "It's been a long couple of days for everyone, I think. Did your and Daunt's home get hit in the raids?" Her helmet angled to look toward Daunt as Juri stepped back.

She nodded to Ru'ni. "A lot of that indeed. As you said, we endure, as we always do. Not the first time people have tried to destroy us, it won't be the last."

She waved to Dak. "It's good to see you here, too, Dak."

"Well if you decide to give back as well as you've gotten, I know some of my people are looking to return the pain inflicted upon on us tenfold. The Sky Tree Sea is large enough for all who seek refuge there of course, but if you want to reclaim the enclave you have allies."

[Daunt]

Daunt looked at Sasha in a telling way only Juri could notice, meeting a request she had made the night before. He otherwise didn't intrude upon the conversation unless explicitly included into it.

She smiled at that and nodded. "Perhaps. I think most of us prefer being farther out of the way right now, but that doesn't mean we won't want a little payback."

She met Daunt's eyes and smiled at the expression.

Stepping back from Sacha, his offer made, Ru'ni returned to bringing what little psychological comfort he could to the injured.
