It looks like an old apartment possibly.

Zabrak nodded at Djanik and his protege, but looked around the antiquated room for any possible passage onward, possibly through walls if something needed to be torn down.

The doors don't seem to work but they are old and could break them down if needed.

Daunt, being unsubtle in quite a few circumstances, kicked them with force.

"Maybe just a cup to make sure you're situated... I gotta check on someone. Little boy that I've been looking after." He replied.

"Well I will try and not take up too much of your time," she responded. "What about this boy, are you his caregiver?"

“Not really a caregiver... but like a benefactor. His mom got killed by that Inquisitor dude the day we arrived. I saw it happen and felt bad for the kid so I searched him out and have been looking after him and his aunt for the past few weeks.”

The door flies open and scatters some vermin and there is a hallway with skeletal remains of sentient beings and dust.

[Daunt]

Daunt looked around to assess whether those Sentients had died violently. He was also curious if Djanik would follow.

Difficult to tell with a casual glance.

As he got to his feet, Djanik slowly regained his breath.

Finally, he looked at the sinkhole.

Well, that wasn't a way out.

Following the Zabrak, gazed curiously at the body on the floor, and Scrap just commented, "Woah. They're really dead."

Looks like violent deaths, possibly blaster fire by the scoring on the bones. The building shifts from an aftershock and they tumbled down the hall into another dusty room.

The way they came is blocked off for now.

"Well, we're trapped in a home full of people who were gunned down."

Djanik chuckled.

"I would say we're probably in danger."

Getting back to his feet, he helped Scrap up and then looked around. With the second shake, he was looking to see if there was any daylight, or if they were in the dark.

And if so, where in the dark were they?

[Dapper Dog]

Pinpricks of light escaped the rubble... guess they could try digging themselves out.

[Daunt]

"I think we can dig out. But I wonder what is this place. No one has been there for a long time." Daunt looked around this new hall, using rays of light to the best of his ability. His other source of light was not for casual display.

[Djanik]

Djanik pulled down his goggles, toggling them to night vision.

"Yes, well, when you build a city on top of it... it tends to get hidden."

Glancing about, he tried to get a better idea of where they were, and if there were any other ways out. Preferably ones that didn't increase the risk of additional cave ins.

[Dapper Dog]

Besides the way they came in they probably needed to look around.

[Daunt]

"Looks like you have the equipment, Djanik, so lead the way."

[Djanik]

Djanik nodded, and, realizing that it was dark, said, "I'll see what I can find."

With Scrap holding onto his sleeve, began canvasing the room, looking for exits, clues, or anything else to go off.

Djanik nodded, and, realizing that it was dark, said, "I'll see what I can find."

With Scrap holding onto his sleeve, began canvasing the room, looking for exits, clues, or anything else to go off.

There is another door that is hanging off the hinges but that goes deeper into the darkness of this under city.

[Daunt]

"Are you and your minor feeling brave, Djanik?" Daunt teased grimly in deepening darkness.

[Djanik]

"Well, we can dig, and risk dropping the roof, or we can go deeper."

Djanik pulled out his datapad and flicked it on, providing a faint source of light and passing it to Scrap.

Then he headed toward the door.

"Come on, Scrap."

She nodded, a little out of her element now, without a snarky comment to add.

[Dapper Dog]

Beyond the door was what looked like maybe a road or walkway but it was covered in debris, the earthquake jumbling everything up. Faded garbled signs and such written in some ancient form of Basic or Huttese, but this was old like a forgotten tomb.

[Djanik]

"Watch your step."

Djanik began to pick his way through, careful not to dislodge any debris or step on more dead bodies.

It was a hygiene thing.
