He was trying to map the place in his mind to see what this base was about while they were moving

"Right. Non-hostile. Yeah." Jabber scampers along with Bowse, trying to keep an eye out for potential issues.

[Djanik]

"Of course."

Djanik tried to hold his blaster non-threateningly.

"You want to hit the button to command? Maybe it'll be happier if you are the one who does it."

The command center is a large circular chamber with a center console and a droid that powers on as they enter. It began to speak, "Facility under attack, begin activation process."

It began to work levers and buttons on the command console.

"This is general Nato Gunray, brief me on the situation."

The nemoidian moved in assertively

"Fun fact!" said Vaya, as a quiet aside (quiet relative to the alarms, anyway). "In this portion of the Outer Rim, many separatists were Gossam, so if you get a chance drop a reference to Shu Mai or the Commerce Guild..."

The droid responded, "Of course General, welcome we have 100% operational readiness of 12% of capacity the rest are not responding. Of those capable 45.23% have standard weapon loadouts the rest seem to be missing and no vehicle support but we are ready to fight the Jedi and their clone troopers to the last, General."

"Correction 41.2% are combat ready."

[Bowze Coppa]

''I will inspect the troops along with my retinue'' he said but chose to check if there was any possible intruder ''Is there any immediate threat to this facility?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Sensors say no, also sensors are not operational," the droid responded.

[Jabber]

"Ummm...Mr. Droid? I am the general's...umm." Jagger pauses, trying to think of how to phrase this for a military protocol droids parameters. "Civilian quartermaster and aquisitions agent. My function is to get the general what he needs If the General approves, would you generate a list of what is necessary to bring the site to 100% operating capacity?"


Jabber casts a look back over at Bowze. "If the general approves."

The droid generates a holo of what is needed and lists a sum numbering into the billions of credits.

[Jabber]

"Huh. War is expensive" Jabber looks over at Bowze. "I have a feeling we have to prioritize."

[Bowze Coppa]

Yup...but then again...

He gave a nod to Jabber ''Quite right.''

He looked around before speaking again.

''Give me a detailed analysis of this facility, it's original function and computer logs...also, close the alarm.''

The facility was an outpost and listening post but at some point the CIS stripped it of most of that material and left behind a compliment of droids, nothing more advanced than the standard droid fighter. They had about a thousand here but now number only a hundred or so and of that maybe 45 to 50 are combat ready maybe. There was damage to the charging stations so they couldn't adequately keep all machines ready and at some point the command unit went into sleep mode due to erroneous data.

They have no transport so the droids would have to walk on foot and their battery life was always limited without the orbital command stations but within the vicinity of the station they should be fine.

''Mmmh'' Bowze looked over the data

''Company'' he looked at the data ''We have quite a bit of work to do here.''

[Vaya Mer'darrow]

Vaya's antennapalps, defensively retracted since the alarm went off, emerged slowly. "Thanks, Gen'ral," she said, giving a mock salute. "A listening post, huh? That sounds pretty good, even if you can't shoot anyone with it. That part still working?" She addressed the last part to the droid. She'd be a little offended if 'Bowze' had to repeat it to get an answer.

[Dapper Dog]

"Not currently, needs repairs to be brought back online it has been 989 days since last maintenance cycle," it responded.

[Jabber]

"Well...transport is a problem, but a fixable one. I am pretty confident that I can could get a fixer upper cruiser and try to make it into a pocket carrier." Jabber seriously thinks.

"I think I might have a line on parts and repairs too...buuuuut...I kinda have to figure out what to offer. Hear me out: I found a bunch of Jawa scrap merchants. The...successors of the Republic. They've shut down the best salvage sites. If we can get their help in return for giving what needs to be scrapped and can't be saved..."

Jabber shrugs. "It's a thought."

[Vaya Mer'darrow]

Vaya shivered. "All the self-diagnostics on this pile of ice and rust might be faulty. I hate to say it, but we should do a manual survey."

[Bowze Coppa]

''We have a lot to do indeed.'' he shook his head but kept smiling, happy at their find ''Perhaps the jawas could indeed help...but you will have to handle them Lt. Jabber. Run the numbers by me first though...I can help negociate.''

he turned to the tactical droid

''What would it take to bring the sensors and comms array online and how large is this facility?''

[Dapper Dog]

OOC: 1000 credits worth of materials for repairs and a hard mechanics check to get them online and the base isn't that much larger than what they saw, it was never intended to have living staff but they could convert a storage bay into a living space with some effort. Get a plumber, no onsite Refresher.

[Bowze Coppa]

''This may not look like much'' he said to the three other organics ''But it is a fantastic asset to have once repaired.''

''Thank you T-1, we will initiate manual inspection.''

[Djanik]

Djanik followed all of this with a bemused look, and then shrugged.

"I'll be able to pitch in some - but understand, I'm already running on fumes, financially."
