"Suppose," she shrugged, "figure I'd want to go into something like that with a kind of plan. What I'm trying to find, how In going to get it out. That kind of thing," she scrapped up the last of her meal and pushed the bowl forward.

Turning, then, to more fully face her conversational partner on her stool.

Djanik shrugged, and took another bite, giving a faint grunt of frustration as half the noodles fell off the stick.

Maybe it would be easier this way.

After he finished chewing, he managed, "I have a plan of sorts - mostly I plan to get the right equipment to deal with most common hazards, and then take my time and see what I find."

"Then," she posited, "what happens when you find something but its too big to carry out? What do you do if someone follows your tracks and gets it out before you do?"

[Djanik]

Djanik chuckled.

"Why, are you volunteering for the role?"

[Jenna Karath]

"Just... Idle curiosity," she smirked, "but if I had any sense your source was credible and likely to provide a bit of income well you could do for worse help than me."

[Djanik]

"Well..."

He sighed.

"There is also the chance that it is dangerous. Or what I find might be dangerous. And no offense, but I'm not fond of putting people I just met in danger."

[Jenna Karath]

"I'm not here to change your mind or anything," she said with a chuckle, opening up her hands toward him and spreading them into a sort of half shrug

"I just came for a meal, and got some conversation too," she said.

[Djanik]

"Fair enough."

With a chuckle, he added, "It isn't anything personal. If I find out that it's going to need more hands, maybe I can get in touch - do you have a comlink code?"

[Jenna Karath]

"I'll only agree to fair terms," she said, pulling out her comm unit and offering it over so that he might gather what information he need.

"And I don't take it personally, it's a chance at some possibly paying work and that's rare these days."

[Djanik]

"Yes, or the chance to fall in a hole and starve."

A small shrug.

"Hopefully not, though."

[Jenna Karath]

"Dark," she said, raised both her brows and then slipped off and up from her seat.

[Djanik]

"Honest."

He raised any eyebrow.

"In survival training, we weren't advised to spend a lot of time wandering around unknown caverns."

[Jenna Karath]

"And dark," she chimed again with a smirk. Collecting what of her things she needed and setting her seat back up against the stall.

[Djanik]

Djanik gave a helpless sort of shrug, with a small smile.

"Well, if you don't like dark, this may not be the mission for you."

With some thought, he added, "You also haven't given me a sales pitch on your skill set - what do you actually do, mysterious stranger?"

[Jenna Karath]

"I'm just more chipper about my odds, but.." she shrugged, "I'm good at solving problems, getting around them, over them, between them. Sometimes I even manage through them," she said.

"Handy person to have if you find yourself never knowing what you're needing cause chances are I've got it," she smiled a broad confident smile "good enough for a sales pitch?"

[Djanik]

"Hmmm, might be."

He chuckled.

"I'll be investigating the lead - once I know what I need, I may be in touch."

[Jenna Karath]

"I'll keep my ears on," she said, tapping her left lobe.

With their business concluded it seemed time appropriate enough to be on her way, with a quick salutation she prepared to mix into the market streets.

Djanik nodded, and then turned back to his meal.

Now how to eat this?
