[Jabber]

Jabber pushes out his pheromones as he walks through the market. He doesn't worry about a particular trail, as the beings who can sense it are the people who he wants to find him. He had run into a group of Jawa before, and he hopes that he is lucky enough to find them again.

[Dapper Dog]

They had moved but he finds them once again these upstanding gentlejawa.

[Jabber]

"Greetings brethren. How is business?" It is a question that has a bit of a sting. Jabber knows from personal experience that the Empire had started cracking down on scavenging in some of the more popular spots.

[Dapper Dog]

"Well old chap we have seen far better days, much better in fact. The dastardly Empire blokes have issues a rather contentious order to keep all the good free goods to themselves. They are truly villains. How is an honest entrepreneur like myself supposed to earn an honest and livable wage?" he offered.

[Jabber]

"Indeed! I myself was caught and forced to surrender any chance of even looking for material. It is as if they want us to go to more illicit routes."

Jabber shakes his head sadly.

"But I wanted to check in with you. An associate of mine is looking for some honest vendors who would be looking to purchase scrap, and other materials they do not feel skilled enough to repair. My first thoughts came to you...and that an honest merchant such as yourself would find it only right to increase their pricing to reflect the shortage, even if a supply line is reinforced."

"In return, I believe they may be interested in acquiring odd items. Scanning gear, communications, that sort of thing. I would be happy to act as middleman, if that sounds amenable"

[Dapper Dog]

"Well we are always in the business of providing high quality pre-owned goods at competitive prices, old chap," the jawa responded.

[Jabber]

"Excellent...and I trust that discretion, as always, is part of our business dealings." Jabber exudes a mild satisfaction. "It is only good business."

[Dapper Dog]

The jawa was the model of discretion.

"Well...while I have you, I don't suppose you know anything about this Undercity that I've heard of? I heard rumors that one can pop up in all sorts of interesting places if you know what you are doing. It would be quite valuable to have a guide."

"Spurious rumors some would say, but there is a kernel of truth ol' chap. Never had the courage to go in their myself but the city is built on bones. I hear the Disciple operates out of the Undercity, but beware my friend, that is Crimson Dawn," the jawa responded.

"I appreciate the warning. I don't suppose you know of anyone to act as a guide, do you?"

[Dapper Dog]

Sadly the jawa try not to involve themselves with crazy underworld cult gangsters.

"I can't say I blame you. Desperate times make desperate beings of us all" Jabber waves his goodbyes, looking forward to running into his fellow Jawa at a later date.
