The Mandalorian nodded, just a slight inclination of the helmet. It wasn't so much an invitation or making a big deal as simply letting the other armored traveler know they had noticed the attention.

With that, they returned to splitting their attention between a datapad and the surrounding conversations.

The armored soldier nodded in return, after a moment he straightened up and made a slow winding approach. Once within polite conversation, he said through his helmet, the voice having that radio quality typical of such helmets, "Mandalorian?"

She gives another friendly wave to the Rodian family before making a goodbye and continuing around the ship, keeping an eye out for the great, the good and the boat.

They would apparently not be reviewing anything further, and so tucked the datapad away as the soldier approached. Their voice when they replied was either a tenor or an alto. It was hard to say, with their own mask's distortion complicating it further. "Yes." It was all most people usually needed or wanted to know. "And you are?"

"You a bounty hunter?" He responded glancing at the throng of travelers.

There was a moment of silence. From the outside it might have seemed like contemplation. On the inside, they were momentarily confused at whether he was acknowledging what they said or if that was his name. Well, he was Kay from now on, regardless.

The Mando's helmet tilted, curious. "Among other things. Why do you ask?"

Kay replied, "Just checking in on the competition. You on the hunt now?"

He turned and scanned the room again.

"Maybe I'm after you," they deadpanned. After a beat, they waved a hand. "I'm kidding." People usually didn't notice when that happened.

"Not in the middle of one at the moment. Might be some decent pickings planetside. We'll see."

There was a long if a bit awkward pause and then Kay said, "Good. You ever hunted criminals from the war? Jedi?"

"I don't seek them out," they clarified. For a variety of reasons. He'd avoided the question, though. Eyes narrowed behind the obscuring helmet. "Why?"

Delia replied, “We appreciate anything you can do and I promise we won’t be a burden at least for long.”

"It's no burden to lend aid where I can." She sweetly smiled, tucking her slender fingers into the pockets of her jacket. "Have you done much travel other than this trip to Bankor?"

"I've traveled some... I used to think I would travel and see it all... And you? You seem like you have been to interesting places? More interesting than Dantooine at least," she responded.

"Uh huh." That might have been the least convincing thing anyone's ever said to them. They couldn't help the surge of curiosity. Still... "I'll let it go."

"Regardless, I'm more here to learn and home my craft than anything," they stated, shrugging.

"You make things? Thought you Mandalorians were just bounty hunters?" He said with an incredulous if digital tone.

Kay stepped back and said, "I don't know much about Mandalorians. I've been out of the loop. Work kept me busy, so what do you... Your people make?"

They let out a breath. "It's not like we came into existence recently... You must've been pretty isolated. But we're also pretty insular, so I guess that's fair. I make weapons and armor."

"My brothers... my squad mates fought some back in the war, Death Watch they called themselves? never really thought more of them that," he said in reply.

"Just never met one of you in person. Some of my old war buddies joined up with the Mandalorians, I always thought you had to be from Mandalore."

Kay responded, “I just consider the folks I serve with my brothers… and sisters, I trusted them. Long time ago.”

The latter part made him nod in understanding and he said, “Your Way? Is that like the rules to be a Mandalorian, I didn’t know you guys had rules…” He stops short realizing he might say something else rude.
