Padfast (D4 MM Expecting)

[Rannek Nire]

Rannek stared at a news holo he'd picked up on his way as he waited for his breakfast to arrive.

The local diner of sorts was decent enough to live by. The eggs were even good if you had the sense not to ask what they were made of.

The holo recounted the events of the past few weeks and the progress the Empire was making toward 'Order'.

[Qareme Torth]

Qareme was a woman of routine. Her morning routine included the location she usually had eaten at, as it allowed her to check on those who worked at the different establishments. The large Zabrak didn't need much, she was used to having just enough to survive on, and budgeted on that.

The people that worked there knew the woman well enough that they could enter her order in as they saw her, and after a small discussion she moved to sit down. A brief pause as she saw someone reading that looked familiar, but she sat down without interrupting him. That feeling of knowing the male Mirialan wouldn't go away though, and she looked in his direction again.

Feeling the eyes on him he looked up and glanced at the Zabrak woman.

Oh... her from the first day here.

He nodded a greeting after catching her eyes for a moment.

[Qareme Torth]

There was a nod in the mans direction.

Ah yeah, the man who was looking for someone...

"Did you find who you were looking for?" she asked, having not sat too far from him in the small diner.

[Rannek Nire]

He paused for a second and then remembered fully, "Yeah, the kid? Yeah I found him. Thanks for the help!"

[Qareme Torth]

"All I did was point the way. Or rather the commander did. I am glad you were able to locate the...kid."

Qareme paused a moment before adding "I do not believe I caught your name."

[Rannek Nire]

"It's Rannek." He said with a nod. "I'm new here. Got in that day. What's your name?"

[Qareme Torth]

"I am called Qareme. I have been here for quite some time."

There was a small pause.

"I feel like I know you."

[Rannek Nire]

"Qareme? Well I've been around for a while... maybe we crossed paths sometime? Where were you before here?"

[Qareme Torth]

"Perhaps."

Qareme paused at the question, taking a few moments to ensure nobody was easily listening before saying "I have been on Bankor for many years. Before now I had spent time on Coruscant."
