Day 4 LM (mia/dove's appartment): Long time no see

[Dapper Dog]

Once the proper greeting where out of the way and the door closed, Bowze turned to face his possible still assassin.

''Are you hungry?''

"Are you buying, General?" she asked.

[Bowze Coppa]

''I guess I am, assistant. Talking over a meal is always preferable'' he replied, slightly annoyed

''But I choose where we go...I am craving shumai.''

[Dapper Dog]

The woman followed Bowze, well followed his lead at least.

[Bowze Coppa]

''Have you tasted the local shumai? I know a place where the droid cook makes it greasy just the right way. Slides down your throat just right.'' he commented while moving in the Streets, eventually getting into a small building who happened to be a restaurant. He moved to the counter and ordered two dishes of the stuff along with the sauces.



''Here'' he said going to a booth when the droids finalized the order.

[Dapper Dog]

"Oooh this looks fancy, so why call the meeting short," she mused as she started eating.

"I told you I would find you, when I was ready."

[Bowze Coppa]

''You did'' he said while mixing a few sauces into two smaller dished ''But I am still unsure about your motives. Don't take it personnal: I cultivate a healthy sense of paranoia, I assume you are very talented at what you do and I do not know your name.''

He dipped a chopstick in one of the bowls and then brought it to his mouth, evaluating the taste.

''Good'' he handed her the second sauce dish ''So. Lets begin with the proper first step.'' he extented a hand ''Hello, I go by the name of Bowze Coppa now. A pleasure to meet you miss?''

[Dapper Dog]

"I go by Lyla, sometimes Aunt Lyla, but that's a whole thing," she responded. "Also in case you were wondering I am seeing someone and he is lovely and he likes to hunt. He's real romantic. I know, I am a lucky delivery person."

[Bowze Coppa]

Bowze listened with care

''Good...good'' he said with two nods ''The first time I saw you you shot me with a sniper, the second time we had a standoff with a grenade and now I learn a bit about while sharing a meal after you passed yourself for my assistant. I'd say that is rather non-insignificant improvement!''

He poked one of the shumai to let out steam before rolling it in the sauce

''So. About your decision.'' if he was annoyed before, those last few words seemed to express genuine interest ''How will you take your wings?''

[Dapper Dog]

"I want freedom, so the hard route sounds the more thorough path, right?" she said.

[Bowze Coppa]

''I believe you are strong enough to risk it and even should you die, you will die on your own terms.'' he said without sugar coating it ''But you do not have to be alone in this. Find a pack who knows and are ready to fight with you.''

He picked the piece bathing in the sauce and began eating it

''Do you already have non-imperial contacts and allies?''

[Dapper Dog]

"I have friends, I guess, people love me," she replied.

[Bowze Coppa]

''Good...good.'' he paused and sighed ''I really am not a people person.''

He sauced one more

''What will you do if they come for you?''

[Dapper Dog]

"Kill them I suppose, leaving people alive tends to just create more problems," she responded casually.

[Bowze Coppa]

''Mmmh...yes, but if they know your location then killing them might not be enough.'' he ate the second shumai

''I suppose I don't have to tell you to be ready to relocate...'' he looked at the city while he chewed the piece ''I do wonder...how can I be useful? You seem to have things well in hand.''

[Dapper Dog]

"You're smart you'll think of something," she offered.

[Bowze Coppa]

He stared for a bit

''I can calculate, extrapolate data but I have few things to work with here...hum...being an assistant yourself I am sure you know how people could try to come and assist you and counter them properly.''

He sauced another piece

''But I may be getting ahead of myself...what do you want to do with your freedom?''

[Dapper Dog]

"I need to be free first," she said raising a hand to slow down.

"Maybe we just help each other and sort it out together, big General."

[Bowze Coppa]

''How will you free yourself then?'' he asked ''Do they have a way to control or monitor you?''

He nods

''Yes...let's help each other out.''

[Dapper Dog]

"You know I never considered that," she said honestly.

[Bowze Coppa]

''How do you communicate then? Getting targets and reporting them?''

[Dapper Dog]

"It's complicated mostly, I have some secure access but really only back to the Core, I am not officially affiliated with any entity," she responded.

[Bowze Coppa]

''A deniable asset'' he voiced ''Which device do you use for the communication?''

[Dapper Dog]

"It's a secure holo-comm but it's stashed in a safe place," she responded.

[Bowze Coppa]

He steepled his fingers

''Three things might be possible and an unknown fourth. First: you are chipped...there is something on you or in you that they can track. Second: you are conditionned...there is a command or suggestion imbedded inside your psyche that they can use to track, disable or regain control.''

He played with the sauce for a moment

''Three: There also might be a secret handler...someone to keep tabs on you.''

[Dapper Dog]

"Well that is sobering," she responded.
