A third time, with firepower, and friends (EE, D5)

[Dapper Dog]

The facility has ben trashed and it loo like deliberately and methodically, no terminals remain in any working condition and any they find in any condition had been wiped and are simply empty data disk ready to be filled with data. They find more corpses many huddled in rooms with doors barred but nothing much useful.

About 500 credits of scrap. Each lab had specimens, but those specimen containers were smashed open, something bad went down here but whatever it might have been is a mystery. There are two types of corpses the gray skinned humanoids with sharp teeth and claws and normal sentients mostly human and some other species.

Even the computer system that had responded to him before seems offline. The only find is a data pad under a corpse but it seems to be encrypted.

[Verse Aura]

Verse had not been a fan of the weird corpses strewn about the place. Wandering along pretty quiet all the way. At some point though, she opened herself up to the Force, as the eery silence of the place compelled her to check if they were truly alone in this place, but the Dark Side was strong here, and she didn't feel like spooking herself even more by tapping into it.

Then the sound of thrusters came outside, distant presumably.

"Uhm..."

Djanik glanced toward the entrance.

"I was expecting one more, so I hope it's her."

With a faint sigh, he picked up the datapad, brushing it off.

"What a waste of time and effort... I hope this has something worth all this..."

Tucking it into a bag, he sealed it shut. He'd want to spray it down with some sanitizer, just to be safe.

"Sorry to drag you all along for such an anti-climax. When I left the facility was still in lock down... and those... gray things... were still inside."

He grimaced.

"Apparently, something else was also inside, and is now... loose."

[Jabber]

"Yeah, that's not exactly comforting...well, that's another problem for the Imperials to handle, inn'it?" Jabber is blunt as he surveys the bodies.

Elaranu soon walks in, looking around as she does so, "...well, this is quite a mess."

The nemoidian shook his head moving to the datapad

"Not a waste, not a waste at all. We can repurpose this place." He looked at Djanik "I will inspect that datapad, if it's allright with you"

Djanik glanced at the Nemoidian "I planned to give a quick decontamination pass, and then we could look over it back home. Have all our equipment on hand."

Glancing at the gray corpses, he added, "Whatever caused those mutations, I'd rather be sure nobody catches anything. I recommend a very thorough shower, when you get home, everyone."

Turning back to Ela, he added, "Hey. Glad you could make it. Some things seem to have happened down here, after the last time we came."

Gesturing at the others, he added, "Though I was hoping to introduce you - I know Bowze and I have stumbled into some repair work recently - if you were interested."

[Bowze Coppa]

He nodded in agreement ''That sounds like an appropriate procedure.''

When the pilot mentionned the repair work Bowze came to join them

Turning back to Ela, he added, "Hey. Glad you could make it. Some things seem to have happened down here, after the last time we came."

Gesturing at the others, he added, "Though I was hoping to introduce you - I know Bowze and I have stumbled into some repair work recently - if you were interested."

"I can tell; Perhaps it was a good idea indeed we did not go in last time. If what happened here is any indication."

She turned to the Nemodian, the Jawa, and the Mirialan, "I am Elaranu, mechanic and pilot. The best on Bankor at both. Until proven otherwise. I see you have gathered some good parts, at the least."

Ela picked amongst the rubble with her gloves, carefully picking up a bent panel.

"Hi, I'm Verse," she said, waving a hand a smile around.

She almost added 'Jedi', but people kept telling her not to do that, so she didn't.

"So I mean," she added with a look around the group, "I got to admit I was expecting something less creepy and more... well not this?"

[Djanik]

"Well, it was creepy last time, but not... like this."

Djanik sighed.

"Like I said, sorry to waste your time, but I think we've all just seen the end result of something that is now wandering loose on bankor."

Shaking his head, he added, "So we'll want to be careful, and if you learn anything about a 'HYDRA' you may want to be cautious."

[Dapper Dog]

There is the sound of a large transport outside and then many boots at least a down or so and as they come into view the gleam of white armor, discipline, and a smiling Imperial officer, the Brute of Rygor. Captain Hrugos looks at the gathered group, “Trespassing on Imperial property? That is a serious offense.”

A dozen storm troopers fully armed and ready for battle, the transport is back at the entrance most likely.

''Oh no sir!'' he said with practiced groveling ''We just saw some flashes of light here and we hoped we might catch a few rabble rousers in the act. We know the Empire encourages the removal of pests and rewards loyalty.''

Hrugos casually produced his Disruptor pistol and said, “Keep your distance worm, your identification… now.”

Imperial? That was news to her. She glanced at Djanik and mouthed 'not my fault to him before slowly reaching for her ID. She suddenly wished she'd gotten a new one after the incident with the Inquisitor...

A shock trooper scanned it and said, "Sir, we have a record of her with the Inquisitor."

Hrugos smiled, "Indeed, detain her for now." A storm trooper reaches out to grab Elanaru.

Bowze looks at the the grayish mutants, his nemoidian worry glands going for a spin. He notices something and backs away from them.

Hrugos raised his weapon and shot at something behind them as a creature leaped and c\mauled into the storm trooper about to grab Elanaru! Then there were more of them as Hrugos turned and ran as he tossed back a grenade and it shattered the wall supports causing a cave in behind and several troopers that followed the rest are trapped with them and quickly overtaken by the creatures who seemed to only be playing dead…

Now the crew was surrounded by these things and the storm troopers that were ripped apart began to slowly rise with black bilious bile bubbling from their lips… this was bad…

OOC: 6 minion groups of 3 creatures, Fear check at Easy to start (Discipline or Vigilance), then Vigilance for initiative. They are currently at short range to these creatures! The way out is blocked by a cave in. Destiny used for Hrugos to escape.
