Totally not Skyrim [Day 0 - EE]

"Right, right," she nodded, having not heard the shared conversation earlier. Scooting over to the man, Dove helped him remove the binders as well. "Already picking up guys, hon? We haven't even escaped yet." Dove shot a playful smirk to Mia.

"Ria'la Tu'roth."

He could see people mentally adding for Bankor News Broadcasting, more at 11 so didn't bother adding more.

"If you can get the power back up I might be able to get us comms."

[Ru'ni Wayne]

After being shaken more than a dry martini by the crash, Ru'ni managed to regather his wits in time to help dispatch one of the stormtroopers, choking his opponent out with the binders they had so conveniently provided him. Panting heavily after the exertion, he poked his head out and looked around their surroundings for any seemingly insignificant or scraggly plant life in the desert.

"Machines are far from my area of expertise." He admitted freely. "But if we make a break back towards civilization, I think I can probably mitigate most of the environmental hazards. There is food, water and shelter to be found in all climates, if one but knows where to look."

[Astin Denive]

"Honestly, I think she was trying to set me up with her sister." Astin said with a chuckle and smile of thanks to the lovely woman. "I'm guessing though that's not you." He continued playfully as he rubbed his wrists.

The other man? got a nod from from Astin as he asked his question. "I'll do what I can Tu." Moving across the transport he began looking for somethign he could work on. "Names Astin by the way. Since it seems like we are kinda making introcutions."

"Mianerra, but friends call me Mia," the tall blonde announced with a warm smile. She shot Dove a glance and then looked back at Astin. "Eva doesn't need any help in picking up boys. Needs a lotta help in other ways."

Yusandr walked by and said to the bantering couple, “Lover boy, see what you can do to help Weggs, and you let's get digging to the cargo. The rest if you don't need to be out in the sun stay inside and help Weggs if she needs it. Aznuri, maybe get a quick lay of the land outside in case we have to hike it out of here.”

“We get back to civilization you can make kissy faces all day, right now isn’t the time.”

Outside the heat is sweltering at the peak of the day and there are dark clouds on the horizon, real dark clouds.

"Well, shucks, I guess I'd be rude to not include myself then." A puff of breath from her lips made her thick bangs flutter. "People call me Dove. And no, I'm not her sister, and I don't really much need help in picking up partners." Another cocky smile.

"... Mia, help shovelling and I'll see what I can do with the systems?"

"Yes ma'am." Ru'ni replies simply and follows Yusandr's orders, popping out of the transport to get a true assessment of where they had crashed and exactly what trials they would be required to endure to return to their respective homes.

“Sinya Tarr,” Sinn added her name to the mix quietly, but with enough volume to carry.

She slipped out through the gap between the transport doors, scooping up an entrenching tool on the way.

"You know, I really feel like I could shovel all day back home," Mia remarked. She looked up at the sky and then went back at it. "I'm not properly hydrated for this. Wouldn't be an Imperial shuttle if they didn't deprive us though, would it?"

Runi and Sinnya get their bearings and guess they are probably about three to four hundred kilometers from Rygar in the southern deep deserts, lots of dunes and very few oasi in this region and also common to have sand demons who have wide hunting ranges.

The rest are able to dig out the cargo and get to the gear after about forty minutes of hard labor, but now they have some water at least...

OOC: hose with Survival can tell that they have maybe an hourish before they are hit with a sandstorm… bad news is that they are stuck it would be suicide to travel even in a transport during that kind of storm on the plus side the Empire wouldn’t send out a patrol either until the region was clear and this looks like a big storm.

[Verse Aura]

Not having much else to do, Verse went to the task of shoveling along with the others, following their lead in the process. Hard work to be sure, but fortunately that was not much of an issue for her. When they finally managed to dig out the cargo area and get to their gear, Verse quickly found her own stuff to stow away. There wasn't much of it really, some stimpacks, some cylindrical object that looked like it might be a glowtorch, maybe a few other odds and ends.

Ru'ni sighs and shakes his head, glancing at Sinnya before heading back to the others.

"There's good news and bad news, unfortunately more of the latter though." He started to explain to Yusandr, and anyone else who might happen to be within earshot. "If we have to walk, I don't think we're all going to make it, we are deep in the Southern Deserts easily ten days travel under ideal circumstances, and this is far from ideal. And that big storm on the horizon will be here in less than an hour, so we're all gonna have to get real cozy back inside that vehicle."

"The only positive is there's no way they'll be able to pursue us in that storm. It should buy us quite a good bit of time for our escape once it passes."

"Yes, Ma'am. Kissy faces when we get back to civilization." Astin replied with a smile, before dipping his head to the rest of the crew. "Pleasure to make your acquaintance but seems I got work to do."

With that he wants to help Weggs as best as he could.

(Int 3, gearhead and mechanics if that helps. Otherwise I meet no prerequisites.)

Yusandr wiped her brow and said, “Well I see that as good news, let’s get this water inside get hydrated and then seal the crate up tight to keep the sand out. Weggs and Lover Boy should be able to figure out how to get comms hopefully and we can see what’s what, if anything.”

She sighed and added softly to herself, “I got a bad feeling about this.”

One of the storm troopers was sitting up and drinking some water offered to him by a resistance agent much to the anger of some of the criminals who felt they should leave the jackboots for the scavengers outside. He sipped the offer water and then scanned the room carefully and then said with an accent of the Core, “Well this is going to require quite a bit of paperwork.”

“We treat them like sentient beings, we keep them bound up and when we can we dump them somewhere alive,” Yusandr replied.

“At least if I have any say in the matter.”


“I do appreciate that kindness, would it make you feel better if I said I was just following orders?” he said with a wry smirk.

"That's sweet, handsome," she gave a smile to the trooper. "But you're just going to follow orders again and just round us up again for no reason to haul our pretty little behinds to some prison again, no?"

"No matter what they've done to us, being left out in that storm is no way for a man to die." Ru'ni comments as he prepares to help move the gear inside the shuttle.

"Either we give them a quick clean death, or we restrain them for their companions to find after we've left." He recommends with an obvious indifference to the preferred option.

"That's sweet, handsome," she gave a smile to the trooper. "But you're just going to follow orders again and just round us up again for no reason to haul our pretty little behinds to some prison again, no?"

“I could save you for last, we could make a sport of it, like those old serials … I chase you, you get away I chase you again, could be fun? No? Well it was worth a shot,” he mused.

“As it stands you are far too pretty for an Imperial prison, not that I would know but I hear they are bloody disturbing places to be, luv. Can I call you luv, I feel like after an eyeful of thigh we have become fast friends,” he finished.

Meanwhile Weggs and Astin get power, or at least enough to get the lights and air conditioning on. Weggs cheers and says, “Well we have lights!”

Weggs grabs a bottle of water and takes a seat and tries to avoid the conversation it was way too heavy for her.

"I'll pass on that offer, love," Dove winked to the trooper and looked to the others.

"Well, I got no such scruples, to be honest. If it's not us they're rounding up, it will be others who will be dragged off to prison or labor camp. Personally, I vote for getting as much information out of them as possible, and then give them a clean death. As Pecs here said," a nod to Ru'uni, "no one deserves to be left to die in the desert."

"Woo!" Astin joined in the cheer as well. "Looks like we won't sweat to death in this box then." He grinned. "Not like I mind a bit of sweat, but this place would smell worse then a Corellian swamp in a hour if we didn't get the A.C. going."

The imperial prisoner got a hard look then a soft frown. "Hate to ask, but I don't like to beat around the bush. Are you sure you're not a lady?"

"We put down wild animals that hunt our forests all the time." Ru'ni explained his cultural position and belief before posing his question. "What makes one life form more distasteful to kill than another?"
