Totally not Skyrim [Day 0 - EE]

[Dapper Dog]

"Woo!" Astin joined in the cheer as well. "Looks like we won't sweat to death in this box then." He grinned. "Not like I mind a bit of sweat, but this place would smell worse then a Corellian swamp in a hour if we didn't get the A.C. going."

The imperial prisoner got a hard look then a soft frown. "Hate to ask, but I don't like to beat around the bush. Are you sure you're not a lady?"

"Me? I assure you I am sadly just a man," he said with a shrug.

Weggs let her colorful hair down and busied herself with it while the others chatted about murder and execution... nope, her hair was so pretty, pretty hair covering up her pretty horns.

So pretty.

[Sinnya]

Sinnya had busied herself helping to make sure all the water and other useful supplies made it inside the transport. Standing outside in the heat, she frowned at the boxy vehicle. Stuck upside down in a drift of sand like that, was it going to stay in one place again if the sandstorm shifted the dune around? Or would they all get tumbled head over heels again?

Not much she could do about it either way. She took one more look clear around the horizon--from the shadow in the distance where the storm was gathering to the scrubby waste opposite--but saw nothing else that looked like a threat, so she ducked back inside, meaning to use a tarp she'd spotted to block the cracks around the rear hatch. Few structures were really sandproof, and this transport probably wasn't even designed to be.

Half buried in tarp and with a roll of silver space tape dangling from her wrist like a bracelet, she turned around and frowned as the conversation turned to... murder? Was it murder if you interrogated somebody first?

"What's this bootlicker going to tell his bosses that they don't already know? Unless he memorized our retinal prints or something. He doesn't look that smart."

Daring, she added "I'm with Yusandr. We can just dump 'em someplace. Doesn't have to be someplace that's easy to walk home from." That last came with a quick grin.

[Dapper Dog]

“Ouch, bootlicker is a little harsh, and I think I am plenty intelligent and smart enough to feign ignorance if my superiors pressed me on what happened… of course a blaster to the skull could do the same thing but I have a vested interest in keeping my brains inside my skull. I rather like the inside of my head,” he responded.

“How about a compromise, you let my friends, well friends is a little too familiar but you get my meaning, anyways you let them go and I go with you and help your cause out, no one has to die and you get additional intelligence. It’s the best deal going and this way no one ends up in a ditch,” the trooper offered.

[Astin Denive]

"Huh. Alright then." The young man replied as he flopped into his seat.

"What were we talking about then, seemed importantish?" The Twi'lek woman commenting on it made him nod in understanding. "Welp, I can't say I care much either way."

"But we should make a decision quick, should we pass out ballots or something. Secret vote style?"

He glanced towards the trooper. "Either way I don't think it's worth our time considering that ones offer." He smiled. "No offense friend, but I think you're charity is coming a bit too early. Lacks sincerity?"

[Ru'ni Wayne]

Ru'ni had no intention of taking this traitor with him, his tribe didn't normally accept strays brought home from the desert, but he knew the offer of concrete intel would be too good for the more organized resistance members among them to turn down. He suspected the offer would be accepted very quickly, so he turned his attention to helping with salvaging what usable equipment could be found after the crash.

He replied, "Should I wait till after I've dug my own grave?"

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"Well we can't rule out potential diss... Dissers... People who don't like the Empire of who work under the Empire." Mia laid the entrenching tool on her shoulder. "So, how do we know you aren't going to run back to them to turn us in? Or the rest of your compatriots?"

[Verse Aura]

"Well," she offered up her rehashed opinion, "that one--" she nodded toward Yusandr "--was talking about Jedi and stuff. Pretty sure they wouldn't kill a bunch of unarmed people. I wouldn't."

She crossed her arms, quite sure of herself.

"Maybe he's got a good idea. Only maybe not just take him, take them all and put them to work like they were going to put us to work?"

[Ru'ni Wayne]

"Sure," Ru'ni commented as he rolled his eyes. "Got a nice little soup kitchen for them to volunteer in? I'm sure that will end well."

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

After the recovery of their gear, Ria'la had been busy levering off the restraining bolts the Imperials had fitted to his beloved cambots. One popped off and immediately caused a blast of very annoyed and caustic binary from the small spherical droid as it engaged it's repulsors and did a quick circuit around it's owner.

"Yes Dray I know. Give me a minute and i'll get Binky back as well."

He started work on the second, slightly larger droid.

"Dray, cameras off. No recording here, we're among friends."

There was another indignant peal of binary.

"And watch your language!"

[Verse Aura]

"Well I just got to this planet," she said.

She apparently didn't grasp the sarcasm directed her way, and turned to the others. "Is that an option? Are there soup kitchens that oppose the empire where we could keep them?"

It was a serious question.

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"So enslaving them is a better choice than execution," Mia murmured. She then shrugged. "I'm not hoping to kill anyone today but I won't shed any tears if I have to. Stormtroopers wouldn't do any different if it were the other way around. They were escorting us over to some place anyways. The group could have commanded... commandeered the speeder themselves if they felt so bad about it."

[Dapper Dog]

"Well," she offered up her rehashed opinion, "that one--" she nodded toward Yusandr "--was talking about Jedi and stuff. Pretty sure they wouldn't kill a bunch of unarmed people. I wouldn't."

Yusandr nodded and agreed, "We are better than the Empire.


“I can’t speak for them but I am not exactly sure they would be on board but sure, just means you have to watch more bloody people,” the trooper replied.

“Ah but my mother would scold me for brusque manners, Rayne Soras, late of the 4,367th… the Moon Gulls as it were. I don’t mind bargaining for my life… here I will give you this for free. When Imperial systems on ships and transports lose complete power the systems are zeroed out to factory specs all data is formatted, it’s a security measure.”

“You won’t find any data on anything, say Camp-14 or the like. But I know where it is, I have been there, might even have people you might want to extricate from there, given your apparent nobility.”

[Verse Aura]

"No, no... it's not... it's not enslaving them. Just a time-out. They'll come to understand why the Empire is bad. Right? Then they won't have to be kept in the soup kitchen anymore. Unless they want to be there."

[Dapper Dog]

"I am with her, I can serve soup quite well," he said with a smile giving her a second look and then adding, "Thank you, young miss."

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"There's no soup kitchen. Even I know that," Mia said, massaging her forehead. She then sighed. "Sure, he shows us the base. Then what? What does the end plan look for all of our prisoners?"

The young blonde looked over to her mother/sister figure, Dove.

"I'm not even the person who usually has to be the realistic one."

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

"Camp 14?"

Ria'la looked up, just as the restraining bolt popped off his second droid and it powered up with a hum of operating repulsorlifts.

"We need this folks. I think a lot of our friends are there and the footage I can get of Imperial Oppression there is worth a million."

The second droid nudged him.

<Instructions, sir?>

He pointed at the bound stormtrooper.

"Tight beam, him only. Record."

[Astin Denive]

Astin glanced around the group, he said his peace and really didn't have anything to add. So rolling his shoulders and slouching into his chair he closed his eyes.

Moments later he seemed to be asleep.

Calmly, Dove put the gun away. "Well, if you got info on that facility, you live." Harsh but nescessary for now. "Just hoping I won't regret this."

Footage of Imperial oppression was secondary to her. But if it swayed people to one side, so be it.

[Verse Aura]

"I am with her, I can serve soup quite well," he said with a smile giving her a second look and then adding, "Thank you, young miss."

"You're welcome," she said reflexively, before others spoke their piece. Apparently there was no soup kitchen.

“Well that sounds like three votes for survival and my intel is quite good, luv,” he said with a weary smile.


Weggs realized Astin had the right idea and laid her head on his shoulder and was soon dreaming of pink ponies and pretty hydro spanners and really sexy men.

"There's no soup kitchen. Even I know that," Mia said, massaging her forehead. She then sighed. "Sure, he shows us the base. Then what? What does the end plan look for all of our prisoners?"

The young blonde looked over to her mother/sister figure, Dove.

"I'm not even the person who usually has to be the realistic one."

"I suspect leader-lady here has a plan," she nodded to Yusandr, who had been the most authorative about no killing. "Reality is, that facility is darn-tootin' important, and I'm willing to take risks about it."

Dove gave a shrug. "What happens to him and the others afterward ain't my problem. Who knows, maybe Flips's idealism here is on point and they'll be nice and conformed goody-two shoes soon."

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"Well, we can't keep them in our apartment," Mia said. She then shook her head and sighed. "We couldn't leave any trace of us working for the Tython Run. But if we're sticking around here, then I suppose we could keep watch over them."

The young blonde took the cue from Dove and retracted the entrenching tool.

[Dapper Dog]

Yusandr frowned and said, “We stick to the plan, we focus on getting back to civilization we dump the Imperial soldiers within walking distance of the city, minus their gear and enough water. This one might be useful, he might just be trying to save his own skin, either way he has a vested interest and we can work with that.”

“It’s the best plan I got, then we can start looking at Camp-14 assuming he isn’t feeding a load of bantha poodoo… and if he is I’ll kill him myself for wasting my time. I don’t murder prisoners but malakas that try to play me for a fool are a whole different story.”

“I am going to check to the systems and see if he has the right of it, the rest of you I suggest you get some rest and make sure the troopers stay bound.”

She sighed heavily and then moved to the front adding, “Keep those trenchers handy, we’ll probably have to dig our way out after the storm, assuming we don’t get full power.”

[Mianerra Tavvos]

"Surely the Imperials won't remember the flipping Mirialan with no tattoos. Surely they won't remember the Zabrak woman taller than even me," Mia muttered to Dove. She then patted her blaster and raised a brow. "Say, if killing is so bad, why do most of us shoot to kill?"

Mia shook her head.

"Whatever. Things always seem to work out for the two of us anyways. Wish we could say that for the rest of our crew." The young blonde walked over to Astin and sat down next to him. "Speed freak has the right idea."
