For once, that little thing called common sense kicked in for Dove. It was a rare thing, but some times it did happen!
Maybe there was nothing to be afraid of, and it would all just be one big misunderstanding. Maybe. But then the other side was pointing out how the last time she thought it was just going to be business as usual, she ended up working for an Inquisitor.
And she frankly didn't have time to have a third... or was it fourth(???) boss. Ain't nobody had time for that.
"I... think I will leave," she said, allowing her nervousness to seep through to at least make her seem like a person that was just horribly out of place. Rather than who she actually was.

It was an awkward long couple of seconds as Dove let her neural recorder catch what she was seeing. Then, without thinking of turning it off right away, she turned away and walked out of the building.
