"Honestly, I would like to build my own. Buying one could be nice, but I went to university for starship design, and the designs I've seen since I left home..."

She lets out a small sigh, "It's all been so inspiring. Unfortunately, it is hard industry to break into. For many reasons."

He nodded... not because he understood at all... but because that was the thing to do in such situations when one has no idea about the subject at hand. "Well, I wish you the best of luck. Sounds like a toughie."

"Luck? Luck..."

She seemed to mull the word around a bit, looking away thoughtfully before shrugging, "I suppose every bit helps. Hopefully, I am better than luck."

That saying was one of the few things she'd actually kept from her family. Well, something like that; The language nuances were tricky.

"You said you come by yourself, yes? Hoping to find something for the longer term, or is this just a stop on a longer journey?"

Delia nodded and glanced around the room and said, “We live in a time of troubles, one has to be to strong to not only thrive but help others to thrive. Not many people would willingly do what you do, it’s… admirable to see that.”

She then held her grandmother’s hand and said, “No one even came to our aid until you had the strength to do so.”

She looked at her grandmother and added to Juri, “My confidence? Your the confident one, but thank you.”

“I am glad someone does, some days I am not sure I know what I mean and I lived it,” he said with some relief.

“I am just a soldier, I do what I am told… well I did, now I do what I believe I have to. I never really thought about being a stand up… person. You said you preserve the Way of Mandalore, what does that mean?”

He added, “Is that like Death Watch?”

The Way is more like a combination of a set of cultural precepts and a religion. Preserving that can mean a lot of different things, depending on the situation and the person."

"I have the ability and skill. I have seen what happens when you put yourself to work the will of chaos. What one does, returns to them double. I have a lot to make up for, for what some I knew had done." She remained close to Delia.

Mother Talzin had aligned with the Separarist Leader. And then betrayed him. The Clan suffered. We should have stayed out of the conflict...

"The Galaxy is a dark place right now. If I can bring a little comfort to those who need it, then it is my responsibility to do so, Delia. And doing that brings me comfort. It is a cycle." Her lips curled to a fuller smile.

Even if I have to pull on anger and suffering to make things right. It is all part of the Force.

"A cycle implies that one day we will work our way back to this point," she mused, her look distant.

"Perhaps. Or maybe one day things will be balanced in the harmony of nature." Balance in the Force. She followed Delia's look, more contemplative. The Light was harmony. The Dark was intelligent will forcing submission from that Harmony, but still a tool that could be used for good.

"It just feels like that could be so far away right now, though."

"I do." She said with quiet confidence, her violet eyes focusing on the other woman's face. "It will take work and effort. People working to bring things to harmony. But one day, yes."

She had heard a traveling, for lack of a better term, monk once say All Is as the Force Wills It.

But The Force was only the river that flowed through all life. It was both guide and the effect those living could do.

They weren't entirely wrong, but it was only half the truth.

"Even if what I do only does a small push back to balance, it is trillions of small pushes that will do the task."

"What kind of work were you hoping for?"

She had thought about asking what hadn't "panned out" before, but one thing at a time.

"But balance... Reminds me of the dyadic principle, it's philosophical I guess."

"Philosophy is one of my favorite discussions." Excitement was almost palpable as she listened. "I've heard of the dyadic principle in the past. But talking about it now might not be the best idea. You never know what ears are listening." She quietly added, tilting her head slightly to soften her expression.

They paused to gather their thoughts. "For most, just living the tenets of the code is enough. But the beskar'gam, our armor, is part of who we are. Keeli chuckled awkwardly and loosened his grip on his weapon and said, "Mandalorians seem a tough bunch, what is there to be worried about?"

The chuckle seemed forced, like he was trying to relax.

"I know it sounds stupid. It's just... instinct, I guess," she shrugged. "Thinking about it logically, we may be tough, but the planet's occupied. It's not weird to think there's worse coming if someone puts a toe out of line."

"Me, too. It will be nice to feel dirt beneath my bare feet again." She nodded in agreement, though her thoughts drifted to her friends. To seeing Jak.

To seeing Daunt, and the hunting lodge amongst the rolling plains.

The nightmares wouldn't be so bad then. Not when she could see him for help.

The reverie was broken for a moment, by her self, to remain grounded.

"You'll have to see the rolling farmlands. The good, honest folk. And try fresh grown jubba fruit."
