Dak gave a sheepish look as he interrupted her but quieted while she answered "Well keep a look out for a contact from me, if you're here and you're willing to help there might be a special place for you here soon." He still had planning with Yusandr to do but now that they had a base and were becoming an actual operation he had plans.

"Sounds like you have plans, Dak," she noted.

"I'll be in need of the work," she said, breathing in deeply, "suppose it won't be a paid gig this time around bit," she shrugged against the sand at her back, "doesn't much matter to me. So long as I see the merit in it, I s'pose."

Dak nodded to both "If what we are doing succeeds we'll be in a war not just a battle but a full blown war. In my experience boots on the ground are good and essential but without proper intelligence gathering we might as well just lay down our weapons and pack it up now."

He chuckled a little "Trust me I'd like a paycheck too but hopefully we can get a budget to get proper equipment. The pay here will be fighting for a free Bankor and using your talents to make it happen. Some people are soldiers but Jenna you have a different skill set."

"Never did a job with me," she said, raising a brow, "how do you know anything about my skill set?" she smirked.

"Jenna firstly you're still here, which means you never failed any of those jobs for Vandil. Secondly I was an intelligence operative for over four years you learn how to observe people, you're cautious, observant and know how to blend. Those qualities alone would qualify you." He gave her a big smile "and when we first met you were so dripping with confidence that if you're even half as good as you think you are you'll be a valuable asset."

Listening along Jenna raised a brow, "You've learned a lot from a little," she looked over at Sacha, "I think this one here missed his calling as a recruiter up until now, helluva sales pitch."

Dak waved away the praise genuine or teasing as it may have been "I'm not a recruiter I just believe in this and have experience and skills that can help. I'm just doing my best same as anyone else."

Jenna smirked, shook her head, and looked back up toward the stars as was most natural, being on her back and all, "Well, then you're definitely missing your calling if you don't consider yourself a recruiter. Anyway, whatever it is, you've sold me."

Dak just smiled "Maybe I did."

He leaned back onto his elbows looking at the stars with her "you'll hear from someone in a few days." He looked over at Sacha "not sure how involved you plan on being with everything going on with your people but I'm sure we could use a sharp mind like yours in research and development Sacha."

"They're settling in," she replied with a shrug. "I need to build my armor, but other than that, I'm available for whatever the Resistance needs from me."
