[Day 6 - LN] Jays for Life

[Dove Gray]

Dak placed an arm around her that was intended to be comforting "Hey I heard about what happened on that rooftop, he gave his life for Yusandr. You guys were facing someone who was incredibly powerful, you shouldnt be hard on yourself for that Dove. Dont think about the lives we lost think about all those prisoners you saved Yusander, Hin, ......the inquisitor or I guess Valus from what I've heard. You and that team did amazing work Dove." He would gently give her a squeeze with the arm around her.

Dove leaned into the hug, weary and broken mentally. She hadn't even sustained any injury in the rescue-op. "They wouldn't have been captured if it weren't for me."

[Jenna Karath]

Jenna was present, in the back, she came following after her brother but.. she didn't say she was coming. For she needed a solitary moment to process it all, not the death of Mahon, she hardly knew the man, but for what this scene.. told her, meant to her. Mahon wasn't much to Jenna, just a man she followed to the resistance base, a man she once tried to steal from. Which.. brought her to so many revelations about her brother, about her live.

How far away it all seemed, how long ago.

Hanging out at the back where the light of the pyre barely touched Jenna merely watched on, thinking, reflecting.

Somber.

[Jurdak Surt]

Dove leaned into the hug, weary and broken mentally. She hadn't even sustained any injury in the rescue-op. "They wouldn't have been captured if it weren't for me."

He slowly rubbed her shoulder "Dove, I know it's hard to see now but you were in an impossible situation. We all know what we were getting into when we joined up. You did an amazing job, it's because of you that we got to that transmitter and got that message out, it's because of you that so much has even been possible."

He took a deep breath "Dove, no one else could have come close to doing what you did. It's hard but this is war any of us could die tomorrow and we all know that. It's not your fault."

It was hard to accept it, to allow herself that feeling of accomplishment. It had been a stressful few weeks, and it had all culminated in a crashing crescendo so suddenly. Much worse than she had even considered.

"I'm just so tired..." was all she managed to say, unable to fight Dak's words. At times like these, she envied those who cried easily, who could just have a good cry, and get it out of their system.

Dak nodded "I know Dove, I get it, we're all tired. After this is over just make sure you take some time to just relax a bit. You've had an insane couple of weeks." He paused "If you dont want to be alone tonight my door is always open." It was a heartfelt invitation not one for fun but if she needed companionship, company, he was there for her.

[Qareme Torth]

"I would like that if he will have me," she said quietly.

"I know he will. He is a Jedi like you and I, and the Jedi stand together" she motioned to Petrus in the crowd "you have likely seen him before"

[Astin Denive]

Astin took another sip of his beer, glancing around at the crowd. Most of them seemed to have congregated into small groups. Though like him there were a few stragglers here and there.

He toyed around for a few moments with approaching one of they, but in the end he decided it would just be awkward. Taking one more look around he wandered away from the fire beer in hand to get a better look at the stars.

"I know he will. He is a Jedi like you and I, and the Jedi stand together" she motioned to Petrus in the crowd "you have likely seen him before"

"Thank you, that is a kindness I do not yet deserve," she said quietly.

"I think I need some time to contemplate this and many other things."

[Jabber]

Jabber arrives, perhaps later than some, but as part of a CIS delegation. He seems uncharacteristically somber as he watches people speak.

[Bowze Coppa]

Bowze stood beside Jabber, silent. They only had been informed a few moments prior but protocol still demanded that they would be there.

"Thank you, that is a kindness I do not yet deserve," she said quietly.

"I think I need some time to contemplate this and many other things."

There was a nod. "I understand. I just wanted you to know you are not alone. Please feel free to talk to me, I am always here to help. May the Force be with you, Neela."

Dak nodded "I know Dove, I get it, we're all tired. After this is over just make sure you take some time to just relax a bit. You've had an insane couple of weeks." He paused "If you dont want to be alone tonight my door is always open." It was a heartfelt invitation not one for fun but if she needed companionship, company, he was there for her.

"Appriciate it but... I need some time alone." She said as she gave a shake of her head. "Sort out my thoughts and think things through."
