"I have hard lines I wont cross, I dont kill kids, and unless theres a really good reason I dont kill civilians. I dont see how one is forced to commit atrocities, theres always a decision. I made some bad ones when my back was against the wall but I know there are things I wouldnt do to save my own skin. Droids? I mean the fault isnt with the droid, the droid is just a tool like a blaster. You blame the people that told the droid to go there. Clones? I honestly dont know enough of the science behind that to say who is to blame. But that whole situation stunk back then and hasn't gotten any fresher over the years."

Her nose wrinkled slightly, as if she picked up on the foul stank of the Clone-situation. "I'm more or less made the same way as those clones. Guess I stink too."

He looked at her for a moment "Hey Dove I didnt mean anything by that, come on. I meant that situation, the way they just all turned on the jedi like that, I met some of those clones I know they were soldiers but Dove I was tapped into comms that night it was all of them all over the theater basically at once. It just....something wasnt right about it, doesnt add up."

He scooped up her hand "I'm sorry I'm not trying to pass judgment on anyone right now, I maybe could have spoke better." He looked to her with genuine remorse in his eyes at causing that reaction.

She sighed and rubbed her neck. "It's fine..." it was a bit of a touchy subject, but she wasn't going to hold it against him.

"... I should start heading back. Day's not over yet, and there's plenty more to be done. I appriciate the food, and the place to rest, though. I really do."

Dak frowned and his tail curled close to his body but he nodded "Well I dont like ending things here on a sour note but you're right I'm sure you have things to do." He squeezed her hand "you're always welcome here Dove, my door is always open for you."

He paused deliberating for a moment before asking "may I kiss you goodbye? It seemed appropriate to ask given their discussion and current tone.

"It's not a sour note, Dak," she chided him a little as she broke into a smile. "Chalk it up to me being a very multi-layered mystery."

The squeeze was returned and she rose from her seat. "Why, aren't you a spy too? Should you not be the gentleman spy that steals a kiss from his rival femme fatale?"

He smiled, appropriately corrected in his thought process "That's fair, I may know a lot about you but I'm still learning the real Dove."

As she rose he rose to meet her barely letting her finish her sentence before his lips touched hers gently but earnestly, passion and longing transmitted through touch. His hand landed on her hip and he pulled her into him. After a few moments he pulled away with a sly grin "Maybe I just emphasize the gentleman in gentleman spy."

His lips were met with surprise and then passion. With their lips parting, she softly gasped for air again.

"Maybe you do..." she whispered with a smirk. "But we might need the spy more in the coming days than the gentleman."

Knowing that if she stayed longer now, she'd probably end up spending a lot more time than planned here. Dove untangled herself from the Cathar's embrace.

"Stay safe, Dak."

He held her for as long as she allowed his hand gently rubbing the delicious curve of her hip "Of that I have little doubt." He replied smirking back at her.

When she went to pull away he allowed her to do so easily "The Same to you Dove, remember doors always open." He said with a warm smile.

She breathed in deeply, and nodded once with appriciation. "Thank you. It's good to have a friend who's in the same biz."

With that, Dove took her leave.
