[LM5] In a Galaxy Far Away

[Venator Praedae]

Venator is a little surprised that the Jawa gets a dancer for him too. He notices the others come in and wonders if they are after the mark as well or if they have some other business here. He decides to get a VIP room as well as that will give him an excuse to get near the VIP and stay close to Jabber.

He will also try to either catch a look at the VIP section or sneak there later after the dance is over.

[Dapper Dog]

He sees others there, the first room has the target and several gangsters, a woman standing in the hall speaking to more people and the jawa finishing up with his dancer.

[Venator Praedae]

Venator looks over to Jabbers and sees that the little guy is having his fun or waiting for a better opportunity to come up. Or both. He debates waiting till they are done before trying to talk to him either up close or on the comm.

[Daunt]

Daunt stood up as well to greet the man called the Wall.

[Dapper Dog]

The Wall was a massive human easily two meters tall and nearly half as wide, and he was muscular and covered in tattoos and had a large cigar between his lips. But his voice was soft and intense as he spoke, “So who is this?”

The Disciple said singling out Daunt, “This one is a brother in the order, he wishes to make himself of use.”

The Wall flashed a sign of greeting with his hands to Daunt and then said, “You are welcome here brother, we have need of good soldiers.”

He offered a thick hand to Daunt.

[Daunt]

The hand was firmly accepted by the Zabrak equal in height if not in width. "Daunt. I arrived here from Savareen."

[Dapper Dog]

He greeted the others politely and then took a seat and said, “What brings you here from Savareen? On orders of Dryden Voss? Or some other task?”

The Wall puffed some smoke and added, “If you’re looking for work, I have people debts that need collecting and legs that need breaking.”

[Daunt]

"Some other task." He replied, then moved on. "I could do some of that. You bite into the Hutt domain?"

[Dapper Dog]

"We plan to do more than bite," the Wall said with a straight face.

[Jabber]

Jeez, they are taking their time

Jabber had anticipated that heads would be be knocking and blaster bolts firing by now. Would he need to pay for another song?

[Daunt]

"So a takeover. About time." He mused. "In case you didn't know, they are running spice trade via Jaklu village communities, selling this." He put a small packet on the table. "Could be worthwhile to shake up their supply lines there than going door to door here in Rygor, sifting minnows."

[Dapper Dog]

He picked it up and looked at it and said, "I'll have someone take a look over there."

The Wall put it down and said, "Vandil has been cleaning house, so just a matter of when now."

[Daunt]

"I've noticed. Well, I had my share in it for good money." He shrugged. "Guess the question is what about her after that."

[Dapper Dog]

The Wall shrugged looking at the Disciple.

[Daunt]

Daunt looked that direction too.

[The Disciple]

"We'll have a friendly discussion when that bridge is cross," she said coldly.

[Daunt]

"Fair enough. I guess we've taken a lot of your time already today. I'll just pick up some names of legs to be broken and can be on my way out."

[Dapper Dog]

The Wall gladly shares the names.

[Daunt]

And with that they could bid farewells and leave the room. Daunt looked around, curious who might have been listening. "So this is how it is. What do you think, Dak?"

[Venator Praedae]

Venator quietly slinks off to find a fire alarm or something and a quiet spot to make a quiet call on the commlink to Jabber.

"Looks like we god some fellas jusd waid'n around ad dis dance. Didya wanna waid for dem do clear oud? Or do ya wand me do cause a disdracshion? Hopefully da clears dem oud doo or ad leasd gives us an open'n."

[Jabber]

"All is fair...go and pull it. Just know that there's plenty of people in there. Wall might be out first or last, but I'll try to get him quick." Jabber hands some more credits to the dancer and puts his finger to his lips.

"Just stay in here for the next song darling, and do your best to forget my face. Not that you, ya know saw my face. "

[Dapper Dog]

OOC: As this is Day 5, and in Session 2 this plan whatever it is fails to keep the time continuum intact.

[Venator Praedae]

With the appearance of the Daunt and Jurdak duo, the plan became way more complicated than expected. At this point Venator makes a call to Jabber. "I guess we should leave dis dance for anodher day. Doo many complicashions. Enjoy yerself."

After some time, Venator takes his leave.
