"Hey, someone has to be the comedy relief around here," she said with her usual smile.

"It's appreciated, Verse." she gave an assuring smile. ""The galaxy could use a little more cheer. And, the Republic could use more defenders."

Zerras looked around at the temple, appreciatively.

There was a nod to Zerras, who seemed to have Verse distracted for the moment. So, she approached Master Hin and bowed.

"I do not believe I asked before Master Hin. What do you think of the temple?"

She chuckled softly. "I know of at least one other. So, not too groundbreaking."

"Still makes you number two! Oh I'm so proud of you. When I make knight, you can be my padawan and we can go on amazing adventurers together combining both helmets and boats!"

[Jedi Master Surro]

Master Surro looked at Oraka and then spoke, “Thank you all for coming, from those who have just begun their journey to those who have spent a lifetime following the path, I welcome you. The Jedi order has suffered since the rise of Emperor Palpatine but it is not dead and it is not forgotten.”

“We are living proof that the Jedi order is alive and it is up to us and all Jedi still out there to keep the flame alive.”

“We believe many of you are ready for the trials; Petrus, Xanna, Qareme, Verse, and Fathynyu,” she said warmly.

“The rest of you are doing well but we feel these five have shown the skill, confidence, and mindset to undertake the final trial to be Jedi. This is a milestone, and another small step along your journey, the Force is with each of you.”

“We are proud of each of you,” she finished.

[Oraka Hin]

Oraka stayed seated and said, “We will test you here tomorrow morning. May the Force be with you.”

Qareme nodded. She hadn't expected this, and her first thought was back a few weeks to that first trial.

Am I ready this time?

She stepped back, looking over the others to see their reactions.

Rannek was present as well. He stood somewhere in the mix with an affable but quiet demeanor.

Was she ready? She didn't feel ready, was being ready not feeling ready? If not, maybe she wasn't ready. She could readily agree to that.

Her calm exterior revealed neither confidence nor its lack. She simply smiled, as if she wasn't fully listening and was instead somewhere else altogether. On the interior though, she felt confident, and excited; not the slightest bit of apprehension at the thought of these trials, despite knowing they were likely to be difficult.

"Congratulations!" Zerras smiled. "I am so pleased I can witness this. This, all of this, brings new hope."

Petrus looked startled, his lips parting in surprise. And then, a few moments, pressing gently back together. He knew his weaknesses, but he was starting to recognize his strengths as well. And if those he put his trust in believed he was ready, he would believe them in turn.

Slowly, Petrus nodded.

"It has to come someday, right?" She replied, tilting her head. "I can, but I don't think you'll need it. You have your training, and you have the Force, right? You've been doing this at least as long as I've been learning my role."

The Nautolan blushes but stands a little straighter. Darn right she could do this, if good people have your back then well, you might be good people too.

[Xanna Teevou]

Xanna looked over at Oraka and raised an eyebrow. The trials. Tomorrow morning? She had not even thought about them.

Her gaze moved to the others. She thought about all they had endured. All those years alone. But now? Now they would face these trials, together. That meant so much. She nodded solemnly.

"Tomorrow then. May the force be with us."

Rannek merely nodded with a smile and watched the exchange between everyone calmly. He was still the new kid to the group and everyone else seemed so close. He as of yet didn't have the same kind of connections with everyone that seemed to strengthen them. He wondered for a moment what might be holding him back, but turned his mind away from negative thoughts and tried to focus on making sure he would stay positive and moving forward.

She recognized him, but he likely didn't recognize her. Sacha gave Floats' shoulder a last squeeze before she headed over to Rannek. "Hey... My armor's different, but it's Sacha Ordo. We hunted a bounty together a while ago."

"Masters, while we are all gathered here, I would like to discuss the upcoming action against the Empire." She looked to Oraka and the hologram of Master Surro for permission to continue.

"Oh, yeah! Hey!" He said kindly and it appeared he was going to converse more but then Xanna spoke and he quieted down for the moment.

Sacha also turned her attention to her. Going after the Empire was always going to get her attention now.
