Gib us a Break (D7, MM)

[Rannek Nire]

Rannek came knocking on the door of Gibsy and his aunt that morning before heading off to the temple. He really hadn't spent much time in the base, but after hearing that the pair had moved out here in the past few weeks he came and got himself acquainted with the place.

[Dapper Dog]

Gibsy opened the door and smiled at Rannek.

[Rannek Nire]

"Hey buddy! How you holdin' up?" He said with a smile and a high five as he walked in the door.

[Dapper Dog]

He signed that he was doing good and then followed and hopped on his bed.

[Rannek Nire]

"How do you like the new digs? Still get your Mr. Boob streams down here without too much lag?" He came and sat next to him on the bed.

[Dapper Dog]

The kid signed he was doing good but it was very loud outside so he stayed inside.

[Rannek Nire]

"Yeah... sorry 'bout that kid. All these people running around making all sorts of noise... That's gotta suck." He nodded.

"Your aunt been around much?"

[Dapper Dog]

He signed back that she was around some of the time but he was fine with it because liked to go watch the water at night.

[Rannek Nire]

"Yeah? That's cool. You know how to swim?" He asked.

[Dapper Dog]

He shook his head no.

[Rannek Nire]

“I could teach you if you wanted.” He replied. “I’m pretty good at it.”

[Dapper Dog]

Gibsy shrugged and then got up and grabbed some dried fruit and watched Mr. HappyBoob.

[Rannek Nire]

He nodded and let it go. He wasn’t the kid’s dad. No reason to push him into something he didn’t want to do himself. He reached over and picked a dried fruit and joined in the watching of male joyous mammary characters.

[Delia]

"Gibsy, are you here? I brought you some clothes," a familiar voice called after knocking.

[Rannek Nire]

He turned around and looked with surprise at the door betwixt he and the woman he had not seen in the last few weeks.

He walked over to the door and opened it up.

[Delia]

"Oh hello, Rannek, yes?" she said warmly.

[Rannek Nire]

“Hello Miss Delia. How’ve you been?” He asked.

[Delia]

She entered and put some clothes on the bed and said, "It's been an interesting time, but I am well and since you are here I assume the same for you?"

[Rannek Nire]

“I’m still kickin’ for now.” He replied.

“How’d you get mixed up with the Resistance?” He asked.

[Delia]

"The place I was staying was raided by storm troopers... it was a rather frightful experience," she said reliving that moment.

[Rannek Nire]

“The clinic? That’s too bad...” He said with a look of concern.

“I uhh should thank you for your gift from last time.”

[Delia]

"It was just an old trinket that had no value to me, it was nothing," she said.

[Rannek Nire]

“Did you use it in the past?” He asked.

[Delia]

"I lost it a long time ago," was her reply. "Then found it again when I had no use for it."

[Rannek Nire]

“But you did use it once... long ago?” He asked.
