In another life (Day 7 Early Afternoon)

Floats would of been a pirate, or at least that was Astin's thoughts as they moved around one of the uninhabited islands of the King's Land. They were after all searching for booty, even if the booty in question was really only junk.

"You think we'll find anything here?" He asked the young woman as he pushed aside a tropical plant.

"Well sure! We'll find plants and rocks and sand and such....but uh, quality junk?"
Floats hops over a small rock
"I dunno, seems a shame to be relying on folks having polluted this paradise. I'll cross my fingers if you do."

"Not like we are nessacarily looking for population, I mean we're likely to find some. But you never known, we might find wreckage from a crash or even a old cabin or something." Finding a large rock outcropping he stepped on top of it to try and get a better look around.

"Though honestly I might be happy if I find a nice secluded place to take a lady."

"Although Mr Astin, I saw the documentary you sent me, and you gotta know, none of that was anatomically accurate, I checked! You'd just end up with a quick trick to Miss Juri's clinic if you tried that. Not to mention my head tentacles don't work like that, it's not like they got muscles!"

"I don't think these're the kinda documentaries you should be sending people. I mean, how many 'X's does a title need anyway? And some of the language was real vulgar too."

It could be a boat, and apparently it was! Though how the thing had gotten all the way up here was a bit of a mystery. Sadly there was enough holes in it to almost garuntee it would never float again.

"Suppose I'd best keep em to myself though if you're not interested." He paused thoughtfully. "Course I could always try sending some to Petrus."

“Well ain’t that a darn shame. She was a real beauty before she hit that tree... and that one... and that one... oh and that boulder isn’t doing anything for her stern. How on earth that get in here anyway?”

As she’s heading a little closer to examine the boat
“Well I can’t speak to you and your brothers. But Petrus is just a regular pervert, he ain’t some kinda advanced ten tentacle pervert... right?”

"Maybe it fell down the mountain and landed there." Astin mused, tilting his head to the side to try and get a better look. "Still I figure there is some stuff there we can use." If Floats didn't want to try and bring the whole thing back.


"Honestly I don't know him well enough to say for certain, if I had to guess though he's likely not that advanced." He paused thoughtfully, he seemed more like a zero tentacles kind of man honestly. "Could always make sure the documentaries were a bit more basic level though."

"Basic might be more helpful. I reckon he could have some trouble figuring things out. But them documentaries...are they sending the right signal? None of those positions looked real comfortable like."
Floats jumps up on a rock and tries to put her leg behind her head with no success

He smirked. "If you're talking about that other stuff though, well I've had some pretty flexible friends in the past, and I'll try most things once. Even done a few of those sort of things on a speeder, now that I think about it."

Under the boat now, Floats peers around for some entry up into the craft itself.

"Well i wasn't wearing any pants when those Imps came after me at my place either. Didn't stop me from riding my speeder away though. As you said though, you don't want to crash. There is just some places you don't want road rash."

Astin moved forward to try and help the young woman out. "Well, when you're doing stuff like that, you aren't typically wearing a helmet."

Pointing out a tall palm tree

"Reckon we could scurry up that then jump up onto the deck and take a look about?"

"Weren't wearing any underclothes either, don't tend to wear any when I'm sleeping " Astin replied examining the tree for a few moments.

"Yeah, I think that will work out."

Floats quickly turns and starts shimmying up the tall palm tree, muttering furiously to herself.

Floats frowns, swearing she was receiving some kind of force vision about...clothes? Clothes...off? No, that was the way of the dark side!

"Couldn't see me jumping out of a window with no clothes on...probably have scared those kids half to Corsuscant."

"Can't say I've seen something like that before though." There was a thoughtful pause. "But I might like to." It seemed like something Dove would do to.

"I suppose if you caught'em it would be real romantic, dashing even. Not surprised it's right up your alley Mr Astin. Now, hold steady"
Floats braces herself for a moment then springs off the top of the tree, landing with a heavy thunk and some protesting groans on the straining metal of what was left of the ship's deck
"Oh it didn't collapse, now that's a pleasant surprise."
