[Day 7, EE] The things that we leave behind

[Dapper Dog]

"Yes, you are good with words and a Jedi would lend authority to negotiations; those malakas would have to listen to," the King responded.

[Xanna Teevou]

"Well, I have already spoken with Vanadil. Is this the person you wish for me to speak with? Perhaps you could tell me more about this Crimson Dawn as well." This was moving into her former Master's territory. "When would you like for negotiations to take place?"

[Dapper Dog]

"She is strong crime boss yes, she will do, just know that I do not wish to interfere in her work, only just want peace," he offered,

[Xanna Teevou]

Xanna weighed it up and then nodded. "Very well. You have been helpful and kind Usef, both to the Jedi and the Resistance. I will speak for you. Do you wish to call her by holo, or for me to speak with her face-to-face?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Holo is fine, I hear she vicious killer, be a shame to hurt such a pretty face, and yours as well," he joked.

[Xanna Teevou]

She gave him a wry smile. "Oh Usef, such a flatterer. I have met her in person once before, but yes, holo it is."

She gestured to the ship's comms. "Shall we?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Why Master Jedi, so eager," he said warmly and then looked at a technician and said, "Get me the good lady, Vandil."

[Vandil]

The technician does some work and after some sparks get Vandil on the Holo, the actual woman too. She is seated in a floating chair and said, "You have ten minutes of time, Resistance."

[Xanna Teevou]

Xanna nodded and offered a polite smile. "As before, I shall not waste your time." She gestured to Usef. "Now that you gave run the Hutts from Bankor, my good friend Usef would like to return to Rygor. He has been a good ally and only wishes for peace with you."

[Vandil]

She gave him the side eye and then said, "As the authority of the Crimson Dawn, this could be arranged assuming he gifts me a tithe of his honest earnings."

A droid then interjected and offered the terms of this tithe. The King nodded for her to continue.

OOC: Negotiation check at Average, flip a destiny.

[Xanna Teevou]

With a little back and forth they were able to come to an agreement. "It seems these terms are agreeable to both parties." She looked for confirmation from both.

Day 7. Negotiations. GM flip. Player flip: 1eP+2eA+2eF+1eC+1eD 1 failure, 1 advantage, 2 Light Side, 1 Dark Side

Light pips for successes. Final result is 1 success, 1 advantage.

[Vandil]

Vandil frowned and then said, "I can allow this, welcome back Usef, and I look forward to doing business with you."

Usef seemed pleased.

[Xanna Teevou]

"Thank you Vandil, we shall not keep you further." She gave a respectful nod to the crime boss.

[Dapper Dog]

Usef turned to the woman and said, once the holo was dead, "Welcome change for me, you have done me a great service, master Jedi. I give you first choice of my sons or warriors to marry, pick any of them."

[Xanna Teevou]

She stopped herself from laughing, somehow. Of course then she started to wonder what it would have been like if she was the fabulously wealthy Eleeza Kaesan. She had to admit he was ruggedly handsome. "That is very sweet Usef, but it is not sort of reward that I could accept. Marriage is not something that Jedi do." At least, she was reasonably sure that remained true.

"So I thank you for the kind offer, but I must decline. I am glad that I was able to help you though. Now you can return home when the time comes."

[Dapper Dog]

He chuckled and then gave her the grand tour and regaled her with stories of his children.
