For a moment Astin considered telling Floats that those corporate films were just large commercials, mostly meant to push sales around lifeday. The sappy family stuff had enough reality that he decided not to shatter her expectations though "What other kinds of vids have you watched, or are the lifedsy ones your favorite?

"I'm not that good of a guy." He replied with a wry smile. "As far as good people go you're a lot better then me."

"I'm not that good of a guy." He replied with a wry smile. "As far as good people go you're a lot better then me."

"I know my failings, I'm not sure I'd have been a good person if it weren't for the jedi...not sure what I'd have been. You're yourself, I'm a product of someone else, it's different."

"Nature documentaries are my favourite! But I also love junkheap challenge, where they have to build things in the orbital junkyard, and also anything about kids in school, seems like everyone had it tough with those cliques and wearing pink."

"Well, I'll trust you on that." Though honestly he wasn't entirely sure the jedi were all that good at raising people well. So Astin still believed the tall Nautolan was naturally good natured.

"Don't want me to get you some pink overalls do you?" Astin asked with a shake of his. "I like junkheap challenge a bit myself, always think its neat what they can make, kinda makes me try it myself. Course I don't watch as many vids now as I used to either."

"Yeah, they're pretty popular back home." Mostly with the smaller girls. "If I see any around I'll let you know."

"Heh, I always liked that episode. But yeah, I suppose that keeps me a bit busy. Mostly though I have others things I prefer to do, Vids are nice and all but i am more the type to go out and about to enjoy myself."

As they head back along the sand Floats nods

" 'course it does. A thinker, they think about escape, then they realise they've got no clothes on, so they go get dressed. A doer, they just do, they're already escape before they even think about nudity...which in many circumstances can be a problem."

"Just as much a problem as lingering too long getting dressed and getting yourself caught." Astin replied with a laugh. "I suppose you do have a point, I guess it's good that I keep a bolt bag nearby."

“Yeah, I guess you lose your home a few times and then you learn... or you don’t I guess. I was wearing my pink pjs and the little boat slippers when I had to flee, not my greatest look.”

That caused Astin to snicker. "Think I'd rather be running away in the nuude then that."

"But then pink really isn't my color." Some men could pull it off, like maybe that long haired reporter? It wasn't something that wen with AStin's style or skin tone though.

"Well, it does help keep bugs implanting themselves in your flesh when you're driving at high speeds. Keeps your flesh more firmly in place if there is a crash too." Better the leather then your ass, or so it was said.

"Black for the most part, have some browns too though." He glanced over to Floats. "If we ever got you into speeder bikes we could get you some green ones."

"I don't really got the reflexes for speeder bikes, are there ones with little training skimmers? I'd look real foolish coming off one....though green sounds cool. I could get a helmet with tentacle holes."

"Well, I'm not sure about training skimmers but there are some that are pretty easy to handle. So those would be a good place to learn."

He smiled. "Might want to skip the tentacle holes in the helmet though, maybe make room for em to go down the back of hour neck?"

Floats gingerly reaches back and massages her tentacles. Rashes were bad enough without the road!

"So they're kinda like bo-" Wait, he built a course? "Wait, you built a course? Like a pro racer?"

Astin laughed at that. "It's not anything so fancy, and most of it is in my head." He tapped at his skull.

"But yeah, kinda put together a few landmarks to act as turns, and measured the distance in a initial ride. I go out and race around it every now and again to try and improve my time."

"Yeah, for a while. It's a tough business though, and not really one most are cut out for." He smirked. "It's all I wanted to be when I was a little kid, so I chased after it when I could. Always looking for the bigger better track."

"I didn't succeed though, not really and after a few ups and downs I found my way to this little rebellion."
