[D6, EM] Rebuilding

[Sacha Ordo]

Sacha was crouched in the open stone building they had dedicated as a workshop, fiddling with the internal mechanics of a water purifier that had gotten damaged during the Empire's raid. She sat with her legs crossed, leaning back on her hands on the green-stained stone with a sigh. It was hot, and with no one other than other Mandalorians around, no outsiders to see her, she could take off her helmet. It was set to her side carefully, allowing her to wipe sweat from her brow.

[Venator Praedae]

Having to rent a speeder to get out here, Venator heads through the sky tree sea as soon as he can. He parks the speeder nearby and looks about the new camp. He wanders around a bit before he finally comes across another Mandalorian. He tips his helmet to the female Mandalorian. "Howdy lil lady."

[Sacha Ordo]

"Venator! Good to see you again," she said, holding up her helmet toward him to identify herself. "How've you been?"

[Venator Praedae]

"Golly, ids good da see you well girlie." Venator says with some cheer.

"I god enough for ya do make some new armour for me. How ya hold'n up?" He asks as he looks around.

[Sacha Ordo]

"Same for you," she replied with a warm, cheerful smile. "Excellent! I did, too. I can get started as soon as I finish mine."

She looked around and sighed. "Decisions weighing heavy on me, but I don't think I made the wrong choice. Doesn't make me less responsible for the effects."

[Venator Praedae]

Venator takes out a sizable canister and opens it revealing several ingots of Beskar steel. He also takes out some useful scrap that he was able to salvage. "I believe dis should be enough for mine. I wanna ged a mod pud in doo. I'll have to buy id and hand id over lader."

He takes out an ingot and hands it to her. "Dake dis. For da work."

He looks around. "Which decision are you referring do?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"To fight the Empire, rather than accepting their deal," she replied. She looked through and sorted the items carefully. "This should be plenty. I'll get started on it in a week and a half or so."

[Venator Praedae]

Venator nods. "Makes sense. Dhough, I'll keep my help quied for now. Seems like de Imps cleared oud a lod of people lasd nighd."

[Sacha Ordo]

"Yeah, I heard about that," she sighed. "They're eventually coming after everyone that doesn't fit into their neat image of the galaxy."

[Venator Praedae]

Venator nods. "Seems da way. I had no problem wid dem dill dey decided do bring de fighd do us.

Imma guess'n dey came for you again? If you need anydh'n from de cidy. Jusd led me know."

[Sacha Ordo]

"Yeah... We've never fit with what any of the galaxy at large thought we should be," she chuckled. "I was well away, fortunately. I'll let you know - I appreciate it."

[Venator Praedae]

Venator nods. "I will play nice wid de Empire for de momend. Maybe kick dem in de shins when dey ain'd look'n."

"I almosd have enough do ged a ship? Didya wand in on da?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"For sure," she agreed, nodding. "With my armor started, I can't hang around Bankor forever. If you're up for doing some traveling, I'd be happy to go in on a ship with you."

[Venator Praedae]

"i jusd came here for de acshion. Id'll probably dry up soon and I'll have to mosey on. Besd ged a ship so I can go where ever I wand." Venator replies with a nod.

"Do ya have anywhere in pardicular ya wanna go darl'n?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"For now, getting the remaining beskar I need to improve my armor... Honing my skills in the mean time," she replied as she started working on the machine in front of her a little bit, though still clearly paying attention to Ventaor for the most part. "Eventually, I'm thinking we get the Darksaber back."

[Venator Praedae]

"De darksaber huh?" Venator comments as he thinks about what he knows about it. "Some space sorceror has id now?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"Yup," she replied with a nod. "A decent portion of Death Watch followed him as Mand'alor after he defeated Pre Viszla. An outsider."

[Venator Praedae]

"Hmm...." Venator grimaces at that. "I undersdand da dey follow who ever can besd one of us. Dhough I have my reservashions 'boud follow'n an oudsider da does nod undersdand our Way. Much less follow id. Id leaves me wid a bad dasde in my moudh."

He is thoughtful for a moment. "I guess de besd way is do defead de oudsider in a drial of combad and reclaim de prize."

[Sacha Ordo]

She nodded, her expression grim. "That was my thought exactly. Not all of them did. I followed Bo-Katan Kryze when she left because of it."

"He's Sith... He'll be no mean foe."

[Venator Praedae]

"One of dem space sorcerors?" It almost sounds like Venator spits at that. Though he doesn't because that would be gross inside of a helmet. "Wassid's name again?"

"Only choice is do upgrade our gear and ourselves do be de besd shape possible. Maybe figure oud a plan fer de fighd."

[Sacha Ordo]

"Technically, I'm a space sorcerer," she noted with some amusement. "So was one of the Mand'alors. We've fought them, but we've allied with them throughout our history, as well."

"Darth Maul. And I agree. Can't do much more than that. Hone our skills to get ready."

[Venator Praedae]

The admittance seems to trigger something within Venator. As his hand quickly pulls the blaster out of the holster and points it at Sacha's head. "Now hold up a nerfdamslodder'n minude dere. Yer one of dem freaks as well Sacha?"

If the blaster is not enough, there is definitely some hostility in his voice.

[Sacha Ordo]

She held up her hands. "I don't know why you're doing that, it's not like I asked for it. I'm still a Mandalorian."

"What's with the hostility?"

[Venator Praedae]

"Space sorcery brings dishonour do baddle. Us'n a power da dun belong do ya. Da jusd really grinds my gears for some reason. Gimme one good reason nod do blow yer head off." Venator replies and moves the setting off stun.

[Sacha Ordo]

"If you think that, then you dishonor our history. We've had dealings with the Force often enough, both in terms of allies and our own abilities. Mand'alor Tarre Viszla had such abilities, and Mand'alor the Preserver was a close companion of a Force user," she replied, shaking her head as she stared down his gun, face set in a deep frown. "You'd better have something better than 'for some reason' to speak such. It's a skill based in a sense just like any other. We use the advantages we have for the Mando'ade. This is the Way."
