(Flip destiny to remember to grab 4 extra stims from the armory before mission, spending what little money I have)

Djanik gritted his teeth, stabbing two stims into his own arms, just to pause the bleeding, before prepping to move onward.

Daunt would stab the Jawa in the little butt with a stim as soon as he would notice the fierce pocket gunslinger having got a shrapnel into the hood. He mostly ignored the Disciple's speech. He'd bargain with her maybe under different circumstances, but you don't get favourable terms with crime lords unless from a position of strength.

Approaching carefully, mindful her surroundings. Again, her and Jabber were perceptive, but only through pure luck???

The terminal is a star map and she recognizes this part of space, it was CIS controlled space during the war. She isn't sure but this could be some strange puzzle based code to unlock the system.

OOC: Computers at Daunting or an Astrogation check at Average to unlock the system. Gain a boost die to to the Astrogation check due to her knowledge.

GM Destiny used.

Dove made sure to give it a good look, so her neural recorder would pick it up as well.

"Flyboy... you any good with astrogation? This is a starmap. I think that's the key to unlocking this thing."

He made his way over, picking bits of metal out of his face with a grimace.

With her help, he tried to solve this particular puzzle.

It all clicked... but he had a few false starts.

The terminal brings up two video feeds one is garbled all to hell and labeled the Lobby is the one that is garbled and the any controls seem to be offline from here but the other reads Vault, and they can see a trio of combat droids standing guard with a sealed bulkhead behind them and controls to overload a power conduit.

They can overload the conduit but it will most likely leave the hallway impassable. Other systems seem to indicate this is where the databanks are stored, beyond that bulkhead.

They have controls to unlock the two currently locked doors as well to the Lobby or Vault.

Jabber crawls back to his feet.

"I shoulda stayed in bed." He grumbles as he watches the others fiddle with a map. "Oooh, I'm supposed to get the databanks if possible." He looks down at his bloodstained rolls.

Dak stims himself and drags the heavy rifle into the room looking to Daunt "hey big guy can you carry a few things for me? I'm thinking this rapid fire gun might come in more handy if we run into trouble but unfortunately I lack the strength to carry both guns and these grenades."

At the question he looked to Dove "We stay on mission, we are here to kill the Disciple and if possible retrieve data. We should blow the conduit kill the droids so they cant back her up and come back with an excavation team to try and breach the vault."

Djanik shook his head "I imagine those databanks will self-immolate if we blow that junction, but maybe they were sloppy - we could get lucky."

With a sigh, he glanced at the bloodied team.

"My vote is blow that junction, grab anything we can use immediately, and then get to the disciple. Last thing we need is more injuries, or worse, fatalities, before we even see her personal retinue."

Jabber lets out a sigh. "I want that data, but I've barely had the chance to fire a shot before I'm been cut to bits. The longer we are here, the less chance of actually getting the target, and if we fail now, I don't think we'll get another chance. I would prioritize the target." Jabber switches out his blaster for a shorter, heavier looking one.

"I think that would be a risk," she pointed to the conduit. "If we fry this, it could maybe take out the droids... and I'd rather not fight those droids on top of whatever retinue the Disciple has with her."

It was unusual to work in a team on a mission like this, but it had its perks, as she wasn't sure if she would've gotten to this point on her own here.

"The plan to bring a team in here another time isn't a bad one. But for now I vote we seal it off, just in case - that way Disciple can't send in any of her goons to blow it up while we're fighting her, hopefully. People like that usually take their stuff out with them if they can."

Djanik glanced at the view again.

"The only alternative I see is I can weld that vault shut - it'll leave those droids inside free to do whatever they want, but maybe they won't destroy the database and vault contents."

A shrug. "Otherwise, we blow that conduit, destroy or damage the droids, and preserve the vault contents, but risk the database."

Looking at each member in turn, he added, "We have little time, so tell me which you want me to do."

OOC: Clarification, the droids are external to the bulkhead, defending it so that would require going through them to the bulkhead.

"so much for team work." Dak mumbled under his breath while he divested himself of things that werent 100% necesarry so as to be able to accommodate the weight of the second rifle.

"As long as we are sure those droids wont be getting to us while we are fighting the Disciple."

Glancing between them, he added, "The only way to be certain is to destroy them. Otherwise, we are gambling that they can't blast their way out."

Dove watched the interaction. The lightsaber was a point of interest, but no time to ask now if he was a Jedi in hiding like the others.

"Very well. Let's just blow it to make sure no one else can get in there for the time being at least, and move on. Ok?"
