"Hey," she leaned on Petrus for the support he offered, "my lightsaber seemed like it was shorting out at the end there. Think we can strip his down for repair parts? I mean... this isn't the last we've seen of the Empire."

Slowly, Petrus nodded. "If we need to. One thing at a time."

As they began hobbling along, he frowned. "Master Surro, do you know, is this place discovered now? Does the Empire know it's here?"

"I can't know that for sure but I do not see any additional ships on intercept," she replied.

"I think we have to assume there's records of their flight path at least. Once they realize he's not coming back, someone will connect the dots."

Petrus frowned. "You can check the ship's computer. Erase it, and see if they transmitted their flight plan anywhere. If they didn't..." He spread his free hand. "Maybe it's okay. The Inquisitor might have wanted to keep what's here for himself."

"Well, that'd be pretty lucky I guess," she said, and sighed, "I wish... I wish we could've gotten through to him. Like with the others. This wasn't necessary. None of it should be."

"There's no such thing as luck." Petrus corrected automatically, then made a face. "Sorry."

He cleared his throat. "Well, it was necessary, once it had gotten to this point. But maybe you're right that it shouldn't have been." He sighed thoughtfully. "It was easier with Valus and Neela. We knew who they were, I mean, who they really were." He cast a glance back over his shoulder at the fallen Inquisitor. "With him... we didn't have that."

Petrus frowned thoughtfully. "I've heard people say you need to know your enemy to defeat them. Maybe you need to know them to save them instead?"

"Regardless, we should collect their weapons and equipment and set them aside." Zerras suggested, eyeing the Imperial bodies again. "They may be useful at some point."

"Yeah..." Petrus frowned. "Go ahead. We should also check out the shuttlecraft."

He pressed his lips together a moment, before glancing at Verse. "Will you be okay from here?"

"I'll be okay," she said, "I just... need to find the infirmary. I'll be fine."

"Okay." Petrus gave her a nod. "I'll be right back to make sure you got there." A hesitation, and then another nod. "You're quite the Jedi, Verse."

After making sure she could stand on her own, Petrus made his way to the shuttle.

Zerras spent a minute or two looking at what the Imperials had brought with them, taking note of anything that might be useful. She still felt a bit dizzy, however, and soon made her way to the infirmary to check on Verse.

While Petrus checked the ship's computer, the droids helped unload the shuttle, and the stormtrooper's gear, with a series of beeps and boops.
