"Dungann Wallace." Petrus eyebrows went up. "Yeah, I remember him. My master was a healer too, so they met sometimes. And, just like you, I'm also not." He smiled.

The smile turned into a thoughtful frown as he studied Zerras. "I'm not sure I remember you, I'm sorry. Although we're years apart..." Although Petrus did assist in youngling classes sometimes, if Zerras remembered a nice, if somewhat goofy, older redheaded student.

[Zerras Blume]

"You look familiar." she nodded. "But, there were a lot of faces around the temple. A lot was happening, too.""

[Petrus Karath]

"Yeah." Petrus said. "There were. Especially in those last few years."

He swallowed. "Did you, uh... were you in the Clone Wars?" Verse already seemed to be so young to be in them, but Zerras looked barely older than Liua...

[Zerras Blume]

"Just near the end." she answered. "I passed my initiate trials just a few months before.... Master Wallace and I saw a lot of the damage the war had caused."

[Verse Aura]

"My master was Nee Alana, by the way." Verse said with a wave, as if emphasizing she was still here and part of the conversation. "Corellian adventurer type! Like me! Only I'm not Corellian."

[Zerras Blume]

"I'd like to hear about those adventures. I feel like I've missed a lot of what's happened here."

[Verse Aura]

"Oh, yeah, I suppose you weren't here for all of it. Well, first me and Qareme both found ourselves on a prisoner transport, but we didn't know the other was there until after us and the resistance made the transport flip, and then there was a big storm, and we stole the transport and got away. Then I went and made friends with the local Aznuri, but... well, the Empire tried to wipe them out. It was horrible, we fought one of the inquisitors then who we later found out was Neela, I broke her lightsaber because you know, I wasn't having a bad day like today and uhm, I wonder if I should apologize for that now that she's on our side? Anyway, she captured Qareme and took her to the prison, so I and a few others went and caused a big distraction in the industrial sector, and I fought Neela again. Well, I mean she *tried* to fight me, but that's when I met Master Hin and he fought her instead but she got away. Meanwhile, the resistance took advantage of the distraction to assault the prison, and me and Sinn'ya stole a tie-fighter. After that... hmm, I met Petrus here, and Liua, and then the others. And me and Vaya learned about this temple so we went to another tribe of the Aznuri because they had maps but it turned out they had been taken over and put under Imperial control, so we fought them, and freed that tribe, and then we got to go to the temple here. Oh and..."

It kind of went on for a while longer like that, unless interrupted.

[Zerras Blume]

Zerras sat and listened attentively. Much had happened. Even more than before, she felt humbled to be among heroes.

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus listened semi-attentively, covertly checking the time on his datapad.

[Verse Aura]

"...And that's how Petrus got demoted again," she said, finally finishing her rambling story; after taking many more turns; with a smile and nod.

[Zerras Blume]

"Again? I didn't think you could be demoted from that rank." she smiled. "Thank you, for that detailed account."

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus laughed. "Really, Verse? That's how your story ends? With me getting demoted?" He laughed again, shaking his head. "Well, as endings go, it's an alright one, I guess."

He sighed. "I missed the season finale of Warrior's Heart. I don't know how it ended. I wonder if we can get it at the base..."

[Verse Aura]

"Well, it happens so often I feel like it had to be included," she said, "and also, you're a knight now Petrus. You're supposed to leave your holo attachments behind!"

[Petrus Karath]

"Hey," Petrus spread his hands. "Jedi still can have likes and dislikes and stuff like that. I just happen to, y'know, like watching Warrior's Heart."

He did his best to look innocent, chin tilting up. "I promise that I will not let the Dark Side tempt me with promises of spoilers."

[Zerras Blume]

"What is Warrior's Heart?" Zerras looked confused.

[Verse Aura]

"Oh Force no, Zerras, you don't know what you've done," she said quietly to her, as if offering someone condolences.

Petrus' eyebrows went up. "You haven't heard of Warrior's Heart? It's one of the best rated shows on the Holo Broadcast Office. It's about a young woman, living on Bankor if you can believe it, who finds an ancient battle-site, and ends up being sent back in time, and encounters a man who she knows will eventually become Mandalore. So she tries to guide him, make him into a better person, but they end up falling in love. But see, they can't be together at first because it would give Dacen's evil twin Iago too strong of a claim for clan leadership, and then later on because she gets stuck in a time loop, so there's multiple version of her, but they're from different timelines, so they all want different things. Anyway, that eventually gets resolved, but then there's war with another clan, because Dacen doesn't have enough legitimacy either, and Jaina, that's the female lead, gets captured by a mysterious man, and so in order to save her, Dacen has to undergo the Ceremony of the Twenty Mega-Rancors, which, of course, he passes, even though his enemies try to poison him. But before he can rescue her, Jaina escapes, but she has amnesia..."

It kind of went on for a while longer like that, unless interrupted.

Once again, she listened attentively, grinning at Petrus' enthusiasm.

[Verse Aura]

Verse rolled her eyes with a smile as Petrus droned on. Though if anyone paid attention to her instead of Petrus, they might hear a few whispered words.

"Twenty mega-rancors? Maybe I should give this show a shot."

[Petrus Karath]

"... anyway, when I told Liua about it, she said that I was demoted again." Petrus sighed.

He cleared his throat awkwardly. "Anyway... it's just this show I was watching... after the Purge." He smiled. "It all feels a little stupid now. Although I really liked having everyone over to watch it."

[Zerras Blume]

"Adventure..." she looked at Verse.

"Excitement..." she glanced back to Petrus.

"A Jedi craves not these things." Zerras giggled. It wasn't the best impression, but it made her think of better times.

[Verse Aura]

She sighed, thinking back to those times as well. "I guess that's true. Sometimes the adventure and excitement finds a Jedi though, instead of the other way around."

[Zerras Blume]

"I'm not sure that's a strict rule." she smiled. "I think many of Master Yoda's lessons were cautionary guidelines. A little adventure is probably fine, pursued in moderation."

[Petrus Karath]

Petrus snorted. "Hey, that's a pretty good Yoda impression. Better than mine. Although I think I do a pretty good Kenobi. Hello there." Petrus frowned. "Wait, that didn't sound quite right. "Hello there. Hello there." He cleared his throat again. "Well, I'll work on it."

"And yeah. It's okay to, y'know, want some excitement. Just don't do things because they're exciting. Do them because they're the right thing to do." Petrus shrugged. "That's my take on it, anyway."
