Day 8 LA: Grand Strategy

[Bowze Coppa]

Bowze was walking in the corridors of the sword with his datapad firmly tucked under his arm and looking for Yuandr...the people he had crossed had told him that she was near.

Where is she? The meeting room maybe?

Bowze looked into the open rooms looking for the last resistance commander.

[Dapper Dog]

She is looking at rosters in the CIC.

[Bowze Coppa]

''Ah! Commander.'' Bowze moved in the room ''Do you have a moment?''

[Dapper Dog]

She looked up and said, "General?"

[Bowze Coppa]

''If it is allright with you I would like to look at your ground assault battle plan for tomorrow.'' he said putting his datapad down.

[Dapper Dog]

"Still working on it, I assume your team is going after whatever you need from the Foundry?" she said.

[Bowze Coppa]

''I have a team going in for that yes. They are experts in their field but they might need a diversion of an escape strategy if things turns sour.''

he prepped his own battle map on his datapad

''So what droids we can send there will serve as an assault team. From what I understand your plan aims to stretch the imperial forces thin so that will help on that front. If you are willing, I can give counsel on the other planned strikes and overall coordination.''

[Dapper Dog]

"I'll have a team join your insertion team," she said to Bowze.

[Bowze Coppa]

Bowze raised and eyebrow

''Hum...what?''

[Dapper Dog]

"You heard me," she said calmly.

[Bowze Coppa]

''But why? I have full confidence in my team. They are also experienced in working with each other...adding a few extra people will not improve the success rate of the mission.''

[Dapper Dog]

"My people are skilled too, I am sure they will work well together," she said looking at the rosters.

[Bowze Coppa]

''You cannot build teams this way commander. It is totally impractical. Is there no better place to send these people?''

Dredgen will need to be informed, Maker be damned.

[Dapper Dog]

"I have made up my mind," she said calmly.

[Bowze Coppa]

''But you have not changed mine'' he replied, frowning ''Give me at least one valid argument Commander.''

[Dapper Dog]

"You want something there, and frankly my people don't trust your greed, so this keeps you honest," she said honestly.

"It's this or nothing."

[Bowze Coppa]

Bowze was taken aback by the comment. By the time he processed it confusion let way to indignation and anger.

''What? My greed? Keep me honest? This or nothing?'' he slammed his pad shut ''What greed pray tell? When did I show greed? I what way commander?''

[Dapper Dog]

She kept reading her notes ignoring the outburst and then added, "It's done General, prepare your team to work with mine or we'll do it alone."

[Bowze Coppa]

''This is unacceptable, THIS...'' he paused, dismayed ''Oh, I see. This is payback for the clone wars, is it not?''

He squinted

''You would rather sabotage our joint efforts then put whatever grudge you have behind.''

[Dapper Dog]

She sighed and said, "I am not into grudges, just making sure that the resources we get go back to Bankor, that's it."

"This was always the plan, now it's explicit."

[Bowze Coppa]

''So you fall into racial stereotypes, heh? The famous nemoidian greed.'' he snarled ''You have not answered my question. What greed? When did I or the people I work with shown greed?''

[Djanik]

The door to CIC opened, though whoever had entered stopped upon hearing raised voices, as if hesitating to interfere.

[Dapper Dog]

''So you fall into racial stereotypes, heh? The famous nemoidian greed.'' he snarled ''You have not answered my question. What greed? When did I or the people I work with shown greed?''

“You want something from the Foundry, it was the only thing you agreed to that we didn’t have to twist your arm on,” she said calmly.

[Bowze Coppa]

''But you have no idea what...don't you?'' he nods ''Of course you don't. You do not trust my greed, I do not trust your force damn competence!''

[Dapper Dog]

"You want to break into the facility and steal data," she said calmly.

"We have spies and scouts too."
