Ria'la is very attached to both droids and would never dream of favouring one over the other. Me though, Dray was too easy to write as a binary blurting only droid. Mr Deadpan Binky was my favourite to write.

Ria'la was fun, and as always, it's great to play with you in a game even if we don't share that many scenes. :) Always appriciate the stuff you bring to these games.

What's Ria'la's secret to having such fabulous hair? Did you plan on going so hard in on Resistance-stuff before we were suddenly on a prisoner-transport, or were you planning on doing more of a slow build towards it?

I had very much anticipated a slow build to Resistance . . . but then Day 0 scene kinda changed my mind.

Rayne was a personal Easter Egg based on the first Star Wars Edge of Empire character I ever played.

Unfortunately I shall ever remember this game as the one where my really good skill never succeeded and that I passed numerous 2 dice unskilled tests with ease.

I missed out on threads with Ria'la.

Did he ever do any exclusive interviews? Or was he more of a propaganda journalist? What gave you the inspiration to play a reporter in this game?

He was definitely more of a Propaganda journalist. All for the big stories to vilify the Empire.

As to why a reporter, it was the time setting. Just a few years after Order 66 there is still a theoretical Free Press out there before it gets totally stomped on by the Empire so this was a great time to be a Newsie.

And Newsie came from the Honorverse books I've been reading. It seems a great nickname for a journalist even if it has negative connotations in Weber's books.
