"I can't speak for her. Or what happened there," she responded, her tone thoughtful. "But I know that those two, were made to be what we saw. Tortured, broken down, remade."

There was a moment of silence. "It's a complicated thing. A resistance against a tyrannical empire should have compassion, but where do we draw the line?"

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak shook his head "dunno, I dont have all the answers there i guess. I dont know what they've been through and cant imagine going through something like that but not sure if somethings deserve redemption but I'm probably ly just a little too quick to pull the trigger so to speak." He knew he was big on vengeance and that sometimes clouded his judgement.

"You do tend to let your feelings get a hold of you," she teased, nudging his side with her elbow. "That's ok, though. One side of this mentor-duo for young spies has to be the emotional one."

Dak chuckled "I dont know I've done a pretty good job of controlling my desire this whole time. As evidenced by the lack of pouncing and such." He teased as he kissed her cheek "and I dont think we want to teach them to be emotional in the field at least not for a while. Gotta practice and hone that drive."

[Dove Gray]

"And you've done good," she patted him on the head. And gave him a scratch behind the ear.

Dove knew pretty well she couldn't teach people to be emotional. To act emotional, yes, and to use emotions especially those of others, yes, but not... getting really connected with their own emotions.

"With that in mind, though, I should probably go get ready. Shouldn't head unprepped into Rygor."

Only a small purr escaped his throat as she administered head scritches, she was just about the only person he'd allow to do that.

Dak nodded a little sad to see her go "You're probably right." He said giving her a squeeze before letting her go. "Wish you could stay though." He said with just a bit of heat in his voice.

"I know, kitten, I know," she smiled, enjoying the sound of his purring for a moment.

"We can save such thoughts for when the battle is over. A cause for celebration, and feeling alive again." Dove's fingers slid down from his ear and underneath his chin, giving it a light scratch before tilting his chin slightly up for her to kiss him one more time.

He was guided to the kiss easily and when their lips met he was fire and passion funnelled through his lips into her. His hands reached out and grabbed her pulling her closer for a moment pressing her into him and they explored her familiar yet enticing and exciting curves for a moment.

He pulled away and there was a touch if fire in his eyes his voice low and with that slight rumble she'd heard many times before "Be safe and come back to me little Dove."

She allowed herself to enjoy the moment for a little while, fingers teasingly tracing over his muscles for the moment before slowly receding as she withdrew from his lips.

"Of course, Kitten," she chuckled, and booped his nose with a playful smile. "A simple recon-mission isn't going to be what brings down the legendary Dove Gray. Gonna take a lot more than that!"

Dak laughed "Just so, now go get ready for your mission." He said as he stood offering her a hand to help her up.

Standing was easy, but she let Dak help her. Good manners or something, maybe?

"You have fun tonight too, alright?"

[Jurdak Surt]

It was indeed manners he was born with to offer a lady his hand to help her rise.

"Not so much fun as I could be having." He said with a grin pressing the button to lower the ramp out to the hangar. "Probably gonna turn in pretty soon actually. Door is always open if you change your mind and want to spend the night. Bed isnt much but its sleepable." He said with a chuckle.

"I'll pass. A bit too cramped," she laughed. It was hard being built like a tall model sometimes.

"Get some sleep Dak and rest up while you can. Sweet dreams." Dove blew him a kiss as she stepped down the ramp, on her way out into the Bankor-night...

As she turned he gave her a gentle swat on her tight rear and grinned watching her walk away. That Dove Gray was going to be the death of him one day, he knew it.

If only he cared.
