[Day 8 - EM] Aquaphobia (open)

[Elaranu]

"I do agree, generally. It also opens up more possibilities for fashion, which is a plus in my mind. I was more referring to the physiological reaction. Though I will admit, sometimes when my stress boils over I want nothing more than a large warm throw blanket."

[Zerras Blume]

"True. There are times when a little warmth is just what I need." she agreed with a nod. "I don't really know much about fashion, though."

[Elaranu]

"What is there to know? I just mean getting to wear what you want to wear. When it is hot out, wearing too much can be unbearable, and it is hard to mitigate that. Where as, when it is cold, you can put on any number of things. And if it is too cold, you can simply layer things under what you want to show."

[Zerras Blume]

"Ah, that makes sense." she nodded. "When I was younger, I'd see women on Coruscant wearing clothing I didn't understand. Why would you make it harder to walk? I was told it had something to do with fashion."

[Elaranu]

"I suppose I do not see why not, if that is what you really want. I have come to peace with the fact there are many choices people make in this galaxy that I do not understand. All I can do really is leave them alone to their enjoyment.''

This had been a hard thing for her, since she left home. Not commenting on others poor decisions was not easy.

[Zerras Blume]

"To each their own." she nodded. "I'm happy with a comfortable pair of boots, especially if they're well suited for running."

[Elaranu]

"Just boots?"

Her eyebrows went up.

"Does that not make you stand out, even on a middle-of-nowhere planet in the Outer Rim?"

[Zerras Blume]

There was a moment of quiet thought. Then she laughed and a blush crossed her cheeks.

"Some simple clothing, too. Maybe a cloak. I do need a new cloak."

[Elaranu]

"Ah. I misunderstood. Still, I might think it relaxing either way, with the right atmosphere. I imagine it would be kind of nice on a hot world, followed by a cold shower."

[Zerras Blume]

"Yeah, that could be nice. Even on a cool world, beside a fire." she smiled. "I might have to try that."

[Elaranu]

"...I have come to appreciate the outdoors more since I came here to Bankor. Not that it is especially more beautiful or scenic than other worlds I have been to. I suppose it just takes the right people and contexts to appreciate such things for me. Back home, I just took the idyllic pastoral nature for granted. Focused more on the negatives than the positives, like the insects and the bad weather days."

[Zerras Blume]

"I didn't get to experience much nature on Coruscant." she explained. "I've come to really enjoy it."

[Elaranu]

"So it is like the stories... Well, I can not say I would not like to visit some time. Though now does not seem like the best timing. More for the danger than anything else, not to mention the work that lies ahead."

[Zerras Blume]

"It is not a good place right now." she agreed. "But, there's no place like Galactic City."

[Elaranu]

"Galactic City? Is that a particular place on Coruscant?"

[Zerras Blume]

"It's the upper levels." She answered. "The city covers the surface of the planet, but only the upper levels are really recognized. The lower thousands, the undercity, are beneath the notice of most."

[Elaranu]

She lifted her head a tiny bit so she could look at Zerras out of the bottoms of her eyes, rather than just at the ceiling, "Are they not worried about the structural integrity of all that ignored mass beneath them?"

[Zerras Blume]

"Some are, I hope." she shrugged. "But, I doubt most of those on the upper levels ever think about what lies beneath. I've never seen any of it myself."

[Elaranu]

"Oh. I guess familiarity does breed complacency. Not to mention comfort. It might be interesting to see that side of the planet too though; There is part of me that would be interested to see the ground; A common curiosity from outsiders I am sure."

[Zerras Blume]

"There are stories of monsters and other nightmarish things dwelling on that level." Zerras explained. "It's also said that nothing could live that far down. Who knows?"

[Elaranu]

"Exactly; Find the truth out about the myths and legends; Things were meant to be discovered, not just wondered about, no?"

[Zerras Blume]

"It would be quite the adventure." she smiled. "Once the Empire isn't a concern."

[Elaranu]

"Agreed. Now... I believe you said something earlier about my ship? I cannot recall exactly what it was before you lead me to this wonderful seat."

[Zerras Blume]

"I'm just curious about it. Other than being a passenger, I don't have much experience or familiarity with spacecraft." She explained. "It seems like it would be best for anyone who travels should know something, though."
