[Day 9 - EN] Tune to the Right Station (Contribution Event)

"A good plan does help things along." Astin agreed, looking around to see if anyone was coming. "Didn't even need any laser swords."

Nodding his head to left he motioned the others to follow along. "I think we should go this way."

[Bowze Coppa]

''I have the way back to our shuttle'' the nemoidian said, pointing to a series of corridors ''I do prefer plans without lightsabers...they are often more trouble then they are worth''

[Xanna Teevou]

"Yes I do find the best plans are the ones that require no laser swords. Would you agree Floats?" She nodded and followed Astin's lead. "It was an excellent plan Bowze."

But still, it was nice for a plan to actually go to plan for once, and she follows the rest on their evacuation.

There was some grumbling from Bowze but he did not press the issue. ''We should be in sight of our shuttle in about five minutes''

"Oh, I'll agree they have their uses, though you really don't want to use one to cut your hair." His eyes shifted around as they walked, perhaps looking for trouble, perhaps looking for cute imperial girls to flirt with on the way out.

Bowze got a nod. "Then a long boring ride back to the base."

[Bowze Coppa]

''I hope so...but we might need to dodge a space battle depending on how things are proceeding outside.'' he looked at his watch and made some mental calculus

[Fathynyu Kurrek]

"I don't shave my tentacles with a lightsaber."
Not after the incident

As they pass a window Floats glances at the chaos outside
"Y'all think things are gonna work out?"

[Bowze Coppa]

''I never liked the great plan to begin with...a lot remain outside of our control.'' he let out a sigh ''But things are proceeding as well as they could be."

[Xanna Teevou]

Looking out at the space battle she nodded. "I do. We have good people." And the force is with us.

"If everything goes as smoothly as Bowze's plan we will be fine." She gave the "Stormtrooper" a smile.

[Bowze Coppa]

''It is the retaliation I am worried about'' he grumbled

And all because a metric ton of jedi choose this planet to hold somekind of highschool reunion

[Lord Vader]

Meanwhile...

The Imperial officer was frantically checking her pockets and was embarrassed and said, “I know I have my…”

She started choking as Lord Vader moved past ending with a resounding crack. He didn't have time for this, the Rebels were making a mess of things on the surface. It was time to end this madness.

“Clean up this mess,” he ordered as he strode through the hall towards his shuttle.

"You shave your tentacles?" That was a bit surprising, he didn't know they grew hair.

"I think I'm in the same boat as Bowze." He mused his eyes still open to his surroundings, blissfully unaware of the death of ute Imperial officer Bekah Channing. "Ain't nothing for it though but to hope everything goes our way."

Bowze had the nagging feeling that this was going too well. He was working with two jedi, after all...something will likely go sideways.

Maybe the shuttle will explode killing them all?

[Xanna Teevou]

"Yes, I have hope that everything else will work as planned. Now,
We are good Imperial soldiers doing good Imperial work." She adjusted her uniform and the silly hat before they approached the Hanger bay and their shuttle.

[Lord Vader]

A dark figure paced through the hangar onto a waiting shuttle sending waves of fear through the chamber.

OOC: Fear check of 5, Cool or Discipline please.

[Bowze Coppa]

Bowze froze in place as the dark figure made his way through the hangar ''Hum...lets wait a minute or two''

A distracted Floats bonks her head on the doorway as she steps through.

[Dapper Dog]

OOC: Bowze is knocked prone from terror and suffers 2 strain while Floats suffers 2 strain.

That dark menacing figure meant it was time to get our of here and in a hurry. Though Astin tried not to make his rushed departure too obvious.

Cool vs fear, cause there is a Vader here. Destiny cause I have yet to spend one: 2eP+5eD 1 failure, 3 threat, 1 Triumph

Xanna felt the fear wash over her, through her, past her. But it could not touch her. She simply nodded in the direction of the source and waited to see if the force was still with them as she believed.

OOC: Xanna gets 1 strain and Astin is shaken and is knocked prone but his heart is resolved and can see that this figure is just a man... he does not need to roll for fear the next time he sees Vader.

[Xanna Teevou]

Once Vader was safely on his shuttle and everyone had regained their composure Xanna started walking briskly towards their own transport. She had to resist the urge to offer Bowze and Astin a hand up. It was not the Imperial thing to do. "Well then... I suggest we take our leave as well."

[Astin Denive]

Astin came to his feet, rubbing at his beard for a moment, before shaking his head and straightening his uniform. "Lets." Astin replied as dryly as he could muster, before moving to step onto the shuttle.
