Out of the Way. (Day 7 Early Night)

"Yeah." That sounded good to him at least. "Not that I'm not a team player or something, I just figure I'd end up in a big argument if I stuck around in a big group." There were after all people here he'd prefer to have nothing to do with.

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak nodded "Makes sense, I usually work best solo or with a small team so I get it. Less chance for disagreements, less people that have to agree to or with what you're doing."

[Astin Denive]

"Pretty much." His lips curled into a wry smirk. "Usually means less people to flirt with too. That's not nessacary a bad thing though."

[Jurdak Surt]

That got a smirk out of Dak as well "Eh flirtin has its place, fun way to pass time. Dont want it to be a distraction or annoyance to others but it can be a nice way to blow off steam or get to know someone."

[Astin Denive]

"Yeah, and you're right there, I've met a few ladies that don't want to even be vaguely in the same direction as flirting." Astin offered with a shrug. "They ask a question and then get pissed off because you answered honestly and they thought you were flirting."

"A strange type if you ask me, but they are out there."

Dak chuckled "Ah well theres honest and theres polite. You can be honest but it isnt always polite to do so. I for one prefer honesty to politeness but hey that's just me."

[Astin Denive]

"I'm in the same boat, or so Floats would say." He figured boat would work as the equivalent as starship. "Just try to keep my distance from folk that get riled up about honesty."

"Seems the better thing to do, for both parties."

The other man chuckled a bit "that I bet she would." Then Dak nodded "Some folks are just like oil and water, dont mix. No shame In it just how it is sometimes. But hey at least from my end you seem like good people."

[Astin Denive]

"Thanks, you're not too bad yourself." Even for a spy, and that was saying something. "You can even hold your drink after all, not like these kids that get the giggles after one bourbon."

Dak smirked "Psh of course I can, you dont make it out of any section of republic military without being able to hold down your drink." From intel to ground troops to fly boys the one thing that brought all soldiers together was a good drink on a night after a mission.

[Astin Denive]

"Well, I've heard of some folks that can't hold their booze at all. A lot of twi'leks for example." His lips quirked in a smile. "Still nice to know you military types know a bit about partying though."

Dak chuckled a bit under his breath "Well almost everyone enjoys drinking so no matter differences it's an activity everyone can mostly get behind. Exceptions exist but you'll struggle to find a military celebration that doesnt end with half the thing drinking enough to make a wookie drunk."

Dak stood with a little stretch "but I think we've burned enough night. Gonna be busy trying to kill a crime lord tomorrow."

[Astin Denive]

"Well, good luck with that." Things like that could really come to bite a person in the ass later. "I'll finish up here and get to sleep in a while. Enjoy your rest."

"Appreciate your time Astin. We should do this again sometime." He said before plunging his hands into his pockets and heading back to his ship.
