[Day 9 EA] Soak Up the Sun (OPEN)

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak had decided he would relax a little bit and take advantage of the clear weather on their island paradise base. He walked out onto the beach in some black swim trunks and laid a towel out on the beach before wading into the cool waters.

It was a time to relax and just take in the sun and the sound of the ocean waves.

[Venator Praedae]

Venator finally makes his way out here. He takes in the sights. It feels like he has been missing out for a while now. He spots a familiar Cathar on the beach.

"Howdy pardner. Fancy meed'n you oud here." He puts up his hand in greeting.

Dak looks up and sees the mando and walks toward him a bit. Dak still had no love for this mando but he didnt seem that bad and Sacha was partnered with him so he got the benefit of the doubt.

"Hey there Venator, just enjoying some of life's nice things before tonight when theres the highest chance every thing goes to shit and we all die." He says with a grin.

[Astin Denive]

Astin madechis way to the beach nearest their base, but apparently with something besides swimming on his mind. There was fishing gear in his hands and when he saw the pair he approached and offered a polite nod.

"I'm guessing we designated this beach for swimming?"

[Venator Praedae]

"Ya know wa dey say. Ya ain'n liv'n unless yer almosd dy'n." Venator replies back.

He tips his helmet back to the fishing guy that he ran into before. "Howdy pardner. Anodher face I didn' expecda see."

Astin madechis way to the beach nearest their base, but apparently with something besides swimming on his mind. There was fishing gear in his hands and when he saw the pair he approached and offered a polite nod.

"I'm guessing we designated this beach for swimming?"

When Astin approached Dak gave him a nod in return accompanied with a friendly smile "Hey Astin, we havent really 'designated' much as such. If you cast out I'll try and stay a bit away. I'd rather not have you try and reel me in."

"Ya know wa dey say. Ya ain'n liv'n unless yer almosd dy'n." Venator replies back.

"Fair enough, I have felt pretty alive these past few weeks so maybe there is something to that."

[Astin Denive]

"I'll keep that in mind." Astin replied with a polite nod towards Dak, though he still moved a decent distance away to set up.

Venator was given a polite nod as well. "Good to see you again, bounty business going well?"

[Venator Praedae]

"Same here. Guess we'll feel really alive when de sun's down. Any idea wa we're look'n ad?" Venator replies.

To Astin he shakes his head. "Had a dougher run in dan I was plann'n. My body is sdill hurd'n worse dan a cad in a room full of rock'n chairs."

[Astin Denive]

Astin wasn't sure what the fellow had just said for the most part, but he at least caught a bit of the end. "Caught a little worse of the fight then?" He asked after a moment. Hoping he had understood.

[Venator Praedae]

Venator nods. "Yeah, some dang wild cads dore me a new one. Imma gonna remember do pack some exdra head when deal'n widh big groups."

Deciphering Venator was always a challenge for Dak but he could usually follow. For the most part. Sometimes. "Yeah never much did care for fighting big groups. Typically want to take out the target before they even know I'm there preferably from some distance away."

[Astin Denive]

AStin fell silent as the two discussed tactics or killing people, it wasn't really something he did at all now that he thought about it. Setting up his fishing gear, he cast out into the water, maybe his luck today would be better then yesterday.

"Yeah. Especially when ya wanna keep a job simple and quick." Venator nods.

"So wa bring you boys oud here?" He asks.
