[D9 MM] Final Tweaks

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak nodded "I mean you know more about him than I do at this point but after some things settle down with the rebellion I'll put some feelers out see if I can track him. If one of us finds him I have no problem helping youtake him down."

[Sacha Ordo]

"Thanks... I have a few feelers myself," she replied with a nod. "I suspect he's a Dathomiri Zabrak, but I can't promise a hundred percent certainty on that. I know about his dealings with us, but I don't know how much that'll help you track him down."

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak listened carefully and nodded "Every bit of information helps but if he's a secret head of the Crinson Dawn and hes managed to hide it for all these years he'll have some powerful ability to cover his tracks. I'll do the best I can."

He leaned up against a wall of the ship "So you go and take out this Maul what's the next step after that?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"He's Sith. Or he was. So that probably helps."

She rubbed a hand over her helmet. "Aside from retrieving the saber... I don't know. I'd technically be Mand'alor if I can pull it off, but I expect Bo-Katan will challenge me for that."

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak nodded and thought for a minute "So if Maul has the Saber right now does that make him Mand'alor?" Dak asked inquisitively "or is that what this Death Watch split was all about?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"That's what it was about," she confirmed. "Bo-Katan Kryze's followers wouldn't accept him."

[Jurdak Surt]

"I'm assuming you had a little trouble accepting him yourself. Unless you were part of Bo-Katan's people but that would beg the question as to why you're not with her now."

[Sacha Ordo]

"I am one of her people," she confirmed. "I'm a Nite Owl. I had to finish my training, though. It's important that I'm as strong as possible to support my kin."

[Jurdak Surt]

"So you follow this Bo-katan now but plan to defeat Maul and become her leader as well. Well I'll give you this you certainly dont think small." He said with a chuckle

[Sacha Ordo]

"It's more like that'll happen as part of my goal," she replied. "If she challenges me... Well, she does have more experience leading. I have to go with what's best for the Mandalorians first."

[Jurdak Surt]

"More experience isnt always the better leader. You have goals for your people, you plan to change things, for the better. I dont know this Bo-katan but I get the feeling that with her you all will just get more of the same you've had centuries."

[Sacha Ordo]

She shifted uncomfortably. "Those plans don't always pan out, whether as a matter of the will of others or the corruption of power. I don't like the idea of being tempted by power. If I rely on my own judgement, how do I know when I stop doing the right thing and when I'm just forcing my own worldview?"

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak placed a hand on her shoulder "The fact that you're even asking that question shows you'll be a great leader. Too many leaders are absolute in their vision and confidence that their way is the only one. Be confident in your vision for your people but listen to them, there will be push back, there always is when you try to change but look to see if you really believe this is best for your people.

He gave her a soft smile "It's a razor's edge and not an easy thing, but you're a smart one and you have a good heart. I believe you can do it."

[Sacha Ordo]

She gave a small nod, then spontaneously turned and hugged him. "Yeah... I mean, my ideas are as good as anyone else's, huh? I'll try to keep an eye on it. Thanks, Dak."

He was surprised by the hug it was the second time something like this had happened but after the initial shock wore off he wrapped his arms around her and squeezed a bit "You're welcome Sacha, it's natural to doubt yourself but never let doubt keep you from your goals." He said softly.

He brushed his head against hers gently as they hugged less satisfying than it usually was due to the helmet but the gesture was there anyway "You got this Sacha."

[Sacha Ordo]

She squeezed him gently. "Thanks."

"I am worried what will happen if I try to go after him too soon. I feel like I need allies... A power base of my own. And I need to become stronger."

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak made a little room in the hug with out letting go and looked down at Sacha "big goals require big preparation. Study your craft, perfect your armor, train and yes find more allies. You're going to be taking on an entire criminal organization not just one man, itll be closer to a small scale war than a battle unless you're sneaky about it but you already said you dont do subtle too well." He finished with a smile.

[Sacha Ordo]

She chuckled. "That does put it in perspective."

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak chuckled in return "Perspective is an important thing to have." He said slowly releasing his hold on the mandalorian hands trailing a bit as he did.

"But let's take things one day at a time. Gotta survive tonight first before we make plans for tomorrow."

[Sacha Ordo]

"Yeah... I'm nervous," she admitted with a sigh. "It all comes down to whether I can get those shields offline. It shouldn't be a problem... But that's a big should."

[Jurdak Surt]

He nodded "Hey I'll have your back the whole way there, ill shoot any bucket heads that try to lay a hand on you Ordo. I know you can do what needs to be done when it comes down to it." He paused now whether we all make it out in one piece is another issue entirely."

He reached back out to her waist "kinda makes you wanna live life while you have life to live." He said with a slow smile.

She smiled. "It does. I hear you've been interested in what's under all these metal plates," she observed, though she held up a finger. "So you know, it might just be a one time thing, though."

[Jurdak Surt]

Another hand came up to grab her by the hip "You know I wish to see what you have under there." He pulled her gently towards him.

At the finger and her words his eyebrow rose and his head tilted to the side "Is that so?"

She let herself be pulled, her arms coming up around his shoulders. "I care about Juri. I don't know how exactly she wants things to be yet, we've just hit the 'hey, I'm into you' phase of things, but I don't want to do anything that will hurt her once we've talked about it."

Dak nodded with a small smirk "oh and I'm just a little fun on the side eh Ordo?" He said teasingly.

"But no I get it, Juri is good people. She, and you, deserve to find something that will make you happy." He leaned in close "but if I only get one I better make it count eh?"
