[Day 9, EM] Off and Running

[Zerras Blume]

She new what was coming. She didn't know what role she would play. But, Zerras knew she needed to be ready. For her, that meant going for a run. She couldn't do that at the temple or the Sword. But, the area around the cabin seemed perfect.

[Oraka Hin]

Oraka meditated under a tree, his injuries had been bothering him and meditation gave him peace from the lingering wounds. He felt Zerras run through the Force, it was good the young Padawan was adjusting well to the changes.

[Zerras Blume]

As she approached the tree, she slowed and stopped. As she had done with Qareme, she decided to sit quietly and meditate with Oraka.

[Dapper Dog]

She felt something pulling at her in the Force. It kept her distracted and unfocused.

[Dapper Dog]

She felt darkness, she felt pain laying on her back looking at her fellow Jedi their lifeless face staring back at her, she was the last the only hope and she had failed. A heavy boot fell on her chest as a crimson saber was driven down snapping her from a dark revelry.

[Zerras Blume]

She had difficulty catching her breath, as the shock of the vision threatened to overwhelm her. She didn't understand. But, Zerras still struggled to find peace.

[Oraka Hin]

"You seem troubled," Oraka said.

[Zerras Blume]

"I... I saw something.... felt it." she explained, still breathless. "Something deadly."

[Oraka Hin]

"Did you see your own death?" he asked.

[Zerras Blume]

"The moment of." she nodded. "A crimson saber descending on me, with no escape. And, I wasn't the first."

[Oraka Hin]

"The Future is a moving target, Zerras, you have seen one possible interpretation... it should not paralyze you, but do not ignore it either," he said calmly.

"No matter the outcome, remember there is no Death, there is the Force."

[Zerras Blume]

"Yes." she nodded. "I will. It seemed so hopeless..."

[Oraka Hin]

"It is only hopeless if you give up, Zerras. A Jedi is never alone when they have the Force and fellow Jedi elsewhere in the galaxy," he responded.

[Zerras Blume]

"It's been hard to understand that." she admitted. "Until I came here, I felt very alone. Now, I worry about losing the friends I've made."

[Oraka Hin]

"Natural, but also dangerous if that concern becomes obsession... friends will come and go, we cannot force them to stay," he said honestly.

[Zerras Blume]

"No attachments." she nodded. "We can't stay here, can we? Regardless of how we face the approaching darkness, we'll need to move on."

[Oraka Hin]

"Eventually, yes, you will have to move on," he agreed.

[Zerras Blume]

"I haven't been here long, but it's clear how helpful you've been to all of us. Thank you." She smiled. "I hope I have time to learn more from you."

[Oraka Hin]

"We are all connected by the Force, I will be your guide for as long as you need," he said.

[Zerras Blume]

"Do you have any recommendations? For what I should do next?"

[Oraka Hin]

"Do you have any recommendations? For what I should do next?"

"Keep running, not away but towards your destiny," he said.

[Zerras Blume]

"That is a very good idea." she stood. "I appreciate meditation, but running is what has always brought me focus."

[Oraka Hin]

He nodded and returned to his meditations.

"May the Force run with you, Padawan," he added.
