[EA 10] Where We Are Now (Juri's Room)

[Sacha Ordo]

Much like she had the night before, Sacha went up to Juri's room and knocked. There was a lot of healing to be done, so she wasn't completely sure she'd be around, but it seemed like a good idea to try and look her up as soon as she was up. They needed to talk to avoid another situation that might hurt Juri. And Sacha wasn't thrilled by the idea of being hurt herself.

[Juri Saizesh]

Juri normally wasn't one who liked sleeping in. But it had been a long night. Sleep hadn't come easy, but she made it through the entire morning.

Her hair was loose about her head, and dressed in a camisole and loose gauchos. The door slid open, and the Witch smiled softly.

"Oh. Hi Sacha. Come in."

[Sacha Ordo]

Sacha did, coming in and giving her a hug. "Good mo- afternoon, Juri. How are you?"

[Juri Saizesh]

"I am well, Sacha." She didn't stop smiling, closing the door behind the Mandalorian, and locking it for privacy. "I'm glad you are here. Last night was... intense. To ride all that adrenaline through the night was exhausting."

The Witch took a gloved hand, holding it gently.

"How are you? Is everything alright?"

[Sacha Ordo]

"It was. The danger was one thing, but if I failed... The pressure was high," she replied with a sigh. "It's... I'm happy, too, because I was able to pull through when the pressure was on and everyone was depending on me."

[Juri Saizesh]

The Witch didn't release her hold on the Mandalorian's hand, listening quietly. When Sacha finished, she leaned in for a tight hug. "You're a hero, Sacha. Today wouldn't have been possible without what you did. It comes with no surprise to me." She slowly pulled away, smiling wide.

[Sacha Ordo]

"I... don't know about that. I was... maybe in the least danger of anyone. But I'm glad I was able to do something," she admitted, voice sounding a little bit small. "It made me more sure about what I'm going to do in the future."

She returned the hug tight, then reached out running a hand through Juri's hair. "Speaking of the future... I thought we should talk."

[Juri Saizesh]

"I had a feeling." She didn't lose the smile as the words were spoken, her hands moving to the Mandalorian's waist. She stretched her shoulders, a contented little sound. "Come, sit, let's talk Sacha of Clan Ordo."

[Sacha Ordo]

"Oh, we're using formal terms for this, hmm?" She asked playfully as she moved to sit, keeping a hand on Juri.

[Juri Saizesh]

"Seems like a rather formal discussion." Instead of sitting next to her, the Witch found a perch atop the other woman's lap, turning slightly sideways to drape her arms about Sacha's neck.

"We both have paths to walk. Similar, yet so very different. Do you think we will see each other much?" She asked, her eyes focused on the T-visor.

[Sacha Ordo]

Sacha's arms slipped around her waist, coming to rest at the small of her back. "There is much to do. I have my people to work with, and eventually I want to retrieve the Darksaber from Maul. I know your goals are big, as well. At the same time, I want to prioritize seeing you as much as I can - I don't want you to feel like I'm leaving you behind. You're important to me."

"I also don't know how exclusive you want to be, or want me to be, and I wanted to come to an understanding about that."

[Juri Saizesh]

Juri didn't say anything for a long time. Considering the question, the situation. "You are important to me, too. I... don't want to be in a position that denies you happiness, Sacha." The Witch leaned in, resting her forehead on the other woman's shoulders.

"I can accept someone having other lovers, as long as it isn't thrown in front of my face, either. Or at least, not done in a manner that puts me on a backstep." She chewed her lip for a moment, her arms squeezing slightly in am embrace.

"And I do want to have children of my own. I don't know how you feel about that. It would be a long way off for us, since we are just beginning." Juri continued in a whisper.

"I never would have thought you were leaving me behind."

[Sacha Ordo]

"I don't want to be in a position that denies that to you, either," she replied, reaching a hand up to begin running steadily through her hair. "Lovers is one thing, but... at least for now, you're the person I want to have a relationship with, if that makes sense? If something changed, I would want to talk to you about it first. So I wouldn't want to throw anything in your face or put you on the backstep."

"I want to have children of my own, as well, by adoption or pregnancy doesn't matter. You should know that I am obligated to raise mine as Mandalorians, and I know you have your own traditions to maintain. That doesn't mean it's incompatible, but it is more complicated."

[Juri Saizesh]

"Oh." She mused for a moment. "I had an inkling about that, from what I know of Mandalorian culture." The Witch seemed to melt into the combing through her hair, leaning more strongly into Sacha, curling up around her.

"We're on the same page. With regards to a relationship, with you. I'm not wanting some casual fling, or tryst." A hand came down, running down Sacha's arm. "And while our traditions might not be incompatible, would your people be okay with us?"

[Sacha Ordo]

Sacha seemed vaguely confused by the question. "Why wouldn't they be?"

[Juri Saizesh]

"I'm a Witch." She said it as if it explained everything. "I wouldn't be able to live your Creed." Juri smiled softly. "But I want to make this work. I want to make us work."

[Sacha Ordo]

"I think that's fine. The Resol'nare only demands Mandalorians raise our children as Mandalorians, not that all our loved ones have to be," she explained. She pressed her helmet against her hair, but sighed. It wasn't quite the same.

She pressed her lips together with determination and leaned back a little. "Neela said I needed to find my own path, if neither the Jedi Code nor the Way resonated perfectly with me. A Way that forces me not to be fully there for my loved ones isn't my Way." She took a deep breath, holding it nervously despite her determined words as she lifted her helmet away.

[Juri Saizesh]

"I could never ask you to make a choice like that, though. If you find the Way is yours, I wouldn't want you to sacrifice something that important just for me." She sat up, posture straight, the way her eyes focused on the removal of the helmet, delivering the reverence that such an act deserved.

[Sacha Ordo]

She set her helmet aside and met Juri's eyes with her darker blue ones. "I'll decide as things go on how to handle the rest up if, but I wanted you to see me at least."
