[Day 9 - LN] Party like there is no Tomorrow

Dove gave Jennah's hand a reassuring squeeze. "And there's plenty you can do beside them, to help them out, support them in what they're going to do. Petrus and Xanna are both Knights now, and they're both clever and capable, but you can do things they cannot."

"I'm not saying you have to give up him, or anyone else, to continue doing the Resistance's work. We'll have need of eyes and ears everywhere across the galaxy, and you got potential, Jennah," the woman spoke with confidence, and some pride in Jennah's talents. "And most importantly, you know what's worth fighting for."

Jenna nodded, smiling, "Thanks, for.." she shrugged, "thinking so, huh? Guess- guess I've figured a few things out. So yea, you can trust that anywhere I am I can send something back. Whatever comes my way. Suppose it won't matter much where we go, with the two of them, staying out of trouble is going to be more unlikely than anything else. They're both clever but.." well, they've still got so much catching up to do with life outside of that Temple, but she didn't say that. Only squeezed Dove's hand back with a, "Thanks."

Dove felt the unspoken words... it was something she had felt about all the Jedi kids she had come across. Petrus had improved some, Xanna was perhaps the one who could the easiest blend into a crowd as a normal person, Floats... needed more work.

"You're welcome," she smiled to the young woman. "And best of luck; those two will no doubt try to pursue trouble of various sorts. It's kind of second nature for those folks." There was a friendly chuckle at the remark.

"They will," she shook her head, joined in with a laugh, "they have, and rather than despite it, because of it I'm sitting here on a beach with my own little odd family being a few sizes bigger, partying with a group of people for better or worse I've come to love and talking to an old acquaintance I'd consider a friend. With hopes and dreams of a new future, a more real future, where maybe.. just maybe, we might all get a little happily ever after."

With a nod, she looked out over everyone gathered, "We'll do just fine, I think. All of us."

Sacha waved with one hand. "Hey, Dak. How's the injury doing?"

Feeling the lean, Sacha rested an arm unobtrusively around her waist as she spoke with Jurdak and Venator.

Dak seeing the two women together gave them both a small smile "Hey Sacha, its uhhh well I'm not dead let's put it that way." He said with a chuckle.
