[Vaya Mer'darrow]

Vaya didn't know if she was the first back to the ship. A highly necessary bathroom break and a slightly wavy route from the beachside showing of Warrior's Heart had left plenty of time for anyone else who was there to beat her home -- if they had gone at all.

She thanked her earlier self for having preprogrammed the caf machine in the lounge to make some fresh. If she'd really been thinking ahead she'd have scheduled the important meeting before the occasion that necessitated heavy drinking. Or perhaps she'd let that happen on purpose, hoping that the agenda (in her personal notes written as meeting about the future use of our shared [investment / acquaintance (friendship???)] would be easier to face if she self-lubricated first.

[Verse Aura]

Verse was probably still supposed to have returned to the infirmary for her night's rest.. but she had stubbornly insisted on shuffling off into the general direction of the ship. A little bit of help here and there, and she'd actually managed to make her way onboard... though that didn't necessarily mean the trouble navigating was done.

"Ow," a voice echoed through the hallway.

"Oof," it echoed again a short while later.

She was bumping into things quite a bit.

[Qareme Torth]

"Stand still" Qareme said to Verse, putting a hand on her shoulder. She had tried to guide Verse at first but decided to try a different method.

"Close your eyes. Take a few calming breaths. Let the Force guide you. Trust the Force to be your eyes. I understand closing your eyes is irrelevent at this point but while they are open you will try to use them even if you cannot. Remember your training."

Vaya detected the incoming Verse and quickly if clumsily tried to make a path for her to one of the lounge’s couches. She almost knocked several things to the floor in the process, only to realize she’d all that frantic effort had been to clear Verse the seat with the best view of the Board.

“Gentlebeings,” she intoned gravely, turning to face them. A smirk started to creep on to her face. “I’m sure you’re all wondering why I’ve gathered you here.”

[Verse Aura]

"Yes, yes," she said to Qareme's fussing, took a deep breath, then walked forward.

"Ow," she said again, as she bumped into something new. At this point, it seemed like she might be doing it on purpose. Eventually though, she made her way into the lounge and into her assigned seat, and listened to Vaya's introduction to... something.

"Is it cake? I'd like cake."
