Go with the Flow [MM1]

[Daunt]

Him and Dak converged in the market. Having grabbed some meat-and-cranberry local specialite off the stalls which was utterly mundane and semi-tasty, plus some mouthwash, they stopped at a spot for common consumption.

"We could stop by the Guild. It's somewhere around here."

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak was in a good mood, whenever a job went off with minimal problems. He smiled up to the big zabrak with a sharp toothed mouth, his mirth evident taking a drink from his cup "Sure, I'm a little credit light at the moment, some work would be good for me I'm sure."

[Daunt]

"Have you ever done this kind of a job before? I mean bounties." Sharp teeth were in operation on the meat. Zabrak liked it rare, and this is how he had ordered it, so droplets of bloody moist were sprinkling. Or was it cranberry sauce?

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak shrugged a bit as they walked "Yeah, I'm a registered bounty hunter, I've done quite a bit of it in the past. Its honestly how I made my connection with our mutual employer." Dak spoke casually as he put one hand in the pocket of his well worn leather jacket.

[Daunt]

"Guess it means you'll do the talking and provide the face for the contract if there's one acceptable." Daunt mused while defeating the leaking protein bundle.

[Jurdak Surt]

"Sure thing, not a problem for me. I haven't done work for the guild in a few years but I'm sure the old droid will still turn over a few juicy tid bits." Dak finished his drink and tossed it into a nearby receptical and plunged both hands into his pockets as they walked.

"Come on this way to the bounty guild." Dak said as he motioned for Daunt to follow him through the winding streets of the golden market toward the bounty office. He looked up at his companion "So you thinking of getting into the bounty game?"

[Daunt]

"My muscles need some action. And animal hunting gets you only so far." Daunt commented, walking. "A droid is the local representative?"

[Jurdak Surt]

"Ahhh I got ya, yeah hunting only satisfies a portion of some urges." Dak knew the feeling, hunting was great but it didnt have the same adrenaline fueled rush that real combat came with. The way your heart raced in your ears as you exhaled knowing everything came down to one pull of the trigger. He had.....conflicted feelings on his past but he couldnt deny some primal part of him that enjoyed it.

Then he shrugged "Yeah cant remember its exact name but it collects and doles out the bounties for the guild here in Rygor. Makes negotiation a little more difficult but also reduces the chances of getting shot or betrayed."

[Daunt]

"Yes." He agreed simply to his first commentary, without adding his own thoughts hunting people, instead listening carefully. "Then it might be better that it's a droid. I like clean arrangements, without redundant drama."

[Jurdak Surt]

"Yeah I'm not one for negotiations either so it works out for me too." He said as they pulled up in front of a building that bore the symbol of the bounty guild. Dak walked in holding the door open behind him for his large friend.

Dak looked around for the old droid that handled the bounties so he could put in his official inquiry.

[TR5-GT]

"Well howdy pardner, welcome to the best little place to wrassle up a bounty and get paid... yeehaw!"

The droid then added, "Not-responsible-for-premature-death."

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak smiled to the droid "Hey there TR5, it's been a while since I've been in." He slapped a hand on Daunt's shoulder "got a friend here who is curious about the business figured since I still have my guild license I'd pick some light work and show him the ropes."

[Daunt]

Daunt just confirmed the version with a nod.

[TR5-GT]

The droid gestured to the bounties and gave them the finger guns.

[Jurdak Surt]

He nodded thanks to the droid then Dak scanned over the bounties two of then stuck out as good starters. He turned to "I see the pickings are about as slim as they've always been but it seemed like we've got two good options here. we got this here woman that is wanted alive, not very lucrative but doesnt seem too dangerous. Then we have a dead or alive rodian that pays out a little more."

He looked up at the big guy "either one seem interesting to you?"

[Daunt]

"I like the dry outback, but the girl can be looked for between other things around here." Daunt remarked. "You call the shots on this, Dak."

[Jurdak Surt]

"Yeah I am already getting kind of a full plate with other stuff around town, let's do the girl and maybe if we're feeling frisky and the job goes well we can go after the big boy." He said tapping a claw against the biggest bounty on the board.
