This small area is controlled by Aznuri exiles, they are suspicious of outsiders and are relatively poor but united by their shared culture.

Mercy of the 13th Sister

Event Type: Main Event
Participants: Unlimited
Timeslots: Late Afternoon

Description: The 13th Sister did not waste, her units were mobilized and before long the siege of the Aznuri Enclave was underway with a full division of Storm Troopers back by elite troopers in service to the Inquisition, dressed in mirror black. This was no crackdown, this was a slaughter and the 13th Sister would have blood and show Bankor the result of supporting the Resistance.

Rules: GM’s caveat this event is inherently unfair, the difficulty is high and the chance for complete success is low, or I believe it is low, but have fun with it. The difficulties are high!

No One Expects the Imperial Inquisition: This is a Fear check as they face down not only a literal army backed by walkers, armored transports, and aerial vehicles they also face the might of a Sith trained Inquisitor steeped in the Dark Side. How can the Light fare against such dark odds! This is a Daunting (4 difficulty dice) Fear check, using Cool, Discipline, or Vigilance, and failure adds a setback die to all rolls in this event.

This roll does not count for points.

Light in the Darkness: The Aznuri are not a weak people but they are few compared to the literal army bearing down on them and anything that can be done to aid the people is needed or they will be slaughtered as no quarter will be given! The player can use any non Combat skill at Hard difficulty (3 Difficulty dice) with a setback due to the intense fighting and chaos! They can also utilize a Force Power and if successful in using it get 1 Light point towards the total but they increase their Suspicion by .5 no matter what Force power is used, this includes using Force powers to enhance skill rolls though in case the skill is rolled as normal. A successful skill check or Power check grants a Light Point.

If a Triumph is rolled add 2 Light points to the total. A Despair removes 1 Light point. Failure on this step upgrades the next roll by 1 (1 Purple die to Red die).

The Aznuri Endure: The player may make a Daunting (4 difficulty dice) check using Resilience, Coordination, or Athletics to evade harm or wade into battle using a Combat skill. Using a Combat skill increases Suspicion by .5 and using a Lightsaber in battle increases that by another .5 to a total of 1.0 increase in Suspicion. Each success rolled on this check reduces the Wounds taken by 1 from a total of 10. Success on this roll adds 1 Light point. A successful skill check grants a Light Point.


So if they rolled 4 successes they sustain 6 wounds, armor does not apply. For this step every 2 advantage reduces wounds by 1 and every 2 threat increases wounds by 1. If a Triumph is rolled add 2 Light points to the total. A Despair removes 1 Light point.


Rewards/Outcome: The rewards for this event are simply saving the Aznuri Enclave see below.

State of the Aznuri Enclave
  • 45+ Light points: The Aznuri are able to completely rebuff the Empire all who participate are named a trusted friend of the Aznuri and can travel their lands minus the Calm as friends. Very minimal damage to the Enclave.
  • 40 to 45 Light points: The Enclave is defended and although the Aznuri suffer losses they are humbled by the outpouring of support and the Aznuri Enclave becomes much more open to the laowai and will vouch for them with their kin in the Sky Tree Sea.
  • 25 to 40 Light points: The Aznuri Enclave suffers heavy damage and nearly a third of the Aznuri are killed but no NPCs will die. The Aznuri population does not change their opinion on the laowai.
  • 20 to 25 Light points: The Aznuri Enclave is nearly destroyed and more than half the people killed and they grow more insular and distrustful of all laowai furthering isolating the Aznuri on Bankor. Sister Hulia is severely injured and left in a comatose state after the event leaving the people without a strong leader.
  • Less than 20 Light Points: The Aznuri Enclave becomes the Aznuri Ruins and is effectively razed to the ground and all Aznuri NPCs perish and the tribes across Bankor begin to retreat to their ancestral homes.

The might of the Imperial Army was positioned all around the Aznuri Enclave. A transport descended from the sky, smoking from orbital reentry. It hovered a good five to six meters above ground as a woman dropped down and landed lightly.

The men came to attention as she passed through their ranks and then stood next to Captain Hrugos who was eager to give the order. In a graceful leap she was on top of the transport and said to her people, “These primitives believe they can house dissidents and rebels that seek the destruction of the Empire, of the way of life that has bettered all citizens of Bankor. They wish to destroy the Hypermatter Foundry and bring poverty and misery.”

“There can be only one solution. The cancer that has taken root in Bankor must be cut out with extreme prejudice, stay with me patriots of the Empire, today we begin the liberation of Bankor from the grips of these Resistance rabble, today we fight for the future of Bankor!”

She then turned to Hrugos and said, “Captain, unleash Hell.”

And so began the siege of the enclave.

The Witch had promised she would lend aid to the Aznuri. And it was already being tested. Seeing the might of the Imperial a machine might shake others, but she already knew terror.

She waded into the maelstrom of danger, trying to use the secret lore she knew to tell tales to bolster the Aznuri, but withoit effect.

Doing so, though, brought her straight up against an Imperial Storm Trooper.

"Bastard!" She cried out, hate and anger coursing through her as green, eerie vapor channeled from her eyes, through her quick fingers as she touched the trooper, watching the contagion move into his armor, dropping the trooper to a wracking coughing fit as she used her magicks to rob him of his life. "You will suffer for what you have done here..." she spat in vengeance. Still, she would suffer, too, as a blaster bolt caught her in the torso, the Witch shrieking as she killed the trooper.

Somehow she managed to keep her cool about her when the bantha-poodoo hit the rotation device. Maybe it was the fact that she had a close encounters with an Inquisitor the day before, or that this wasn't her first rodeo. But it was the chaos that was the greatest distraction for her.

Slipping into cover, she pulled out her datapad and took a quick gander at some of the informants she had paid a couple of days ago. It seemed the Empire was still using the same ordnance as the Republic had done back on Onderon during the Clone Wars from what she could deduce. Which worked well since she knew the manufacturing fault in them. Relaying this information to some of the others taking up the fight helped in taking out a cache of grenades the troopers had brought.

It wasn't much, but it was something. But when up against such a big enemy, all the tiny papercuts helped.

Seeing no other option but to join the fray at this point, Dove retreated more into the narrower spaces for ambush points. The first trooper was caught completely unaware as she dropped out of hiding, locking his neck between her thighs, and giving it a good snap as her twisting body threw him to the ground. The ones behind him got in some good shots at her, but it didn't stop her from closing in on them, catching one in her garrote while fighting off the other one with knees and elbows. The end result was one trooper choked out, while the last one was finally brought down after several blows to his joints and neck.

And this had started out as such a good day too...

Ru'ni watched the Imperial procession bear down upon the Enclave, red blaster bolts pew-pewing through the air and destroying lives and homes in truly devastating numbers. He had never seen such a display of power before and was on the verge of running; when he saw Sister Viati, his monkey-lizard through the smoke and haze being harassed by a menacing Imperial Agent. In that moment his fear was replaced by anger and hatred.

As he headed towards the pair, a particularly vicious flyby attack from a tie fighter toppled a building in his path, cutting off his path and injuring a young boy he recognized. Knowing he could not help Viati at that moment, he did what she would do, he tried to ensure the Aznuri endured. Using his survival skills, he guided some of his people through the maze of destruction to safety. Unfortunately it brought him right into a squad of storm troopers.

Hurling himself at them to try and buy time for his people to escape he managed to bash and barge, knocking a few over, but one tagged him in the back with a vicious shot just before he could escape. Staggering through the rubble, he continued his search for Viati.

Jabber had been relaxed, enjoying a tired ride back from the events of the Cram Berry festival when the sound begins. At first, it;s heavy tremors, but then, there is a whine of ion engines and repulsorlifts of the Imperial war machine. And then, he sees the flash of light, and the sound of explosions in the distance by where the Anzuri made their home. They were an odd bunch, and secretive, but they'd never caused a whisper of trouble as far as Jabber knew...and there was no way they were going to be able to hold up to something like that

"Sarlacc's teeth, that's going to be a slaughter.

Sudden images flashed into his mind unbidden, the slumped forms of fellow Jawa as a Hutt punitive force circled the sandcrawler. The driver suddenly steered the hovertruck to a halt, staring at the carnage.

"Oh kriff it, I ain't goin' anywhere near that!"

And there it is. A moment, another...chance, maybe? Before Jabber knows it, he's tucking and rolling off the side of the truck, shouting half out of shock and half out of some kind of war cry.

"UTINI!!!"

"Hey, you didn't pay your fare!" The hovertruck driver looks at the direction Jabber is going, then at the advancing army, and then back at the rest of his fares before letting out a sigh and driving away to "anywhere but there"

It's not until he's sprayed with a rain of Earth that the sensaiton of "this is real" kicks in. Before, some vague idea about "making a name" or some kind of second chance about his clan encounters a bit of stark reality. This is it. Really it, and he's just one little Jawa mired in all of it.

It's then that he hears the shout, a scared child. Still rattled, Jabber makes his way to them.

"Wah!" It's a quick nonsense word in a low tone, followed by a gesture to follow. He crouches low, guiding the Anzuri to follow him as he guides them away from the action, putting up a wall of leaves and foliage to hide the passage, making an impromptu smuggling path back the way he came.

"Hey! What's that over there?" A pair of stormtroopers begin making their way in that direction. Jabber bolts, surprisingly fleet of foot for his small frame, distracting the stormtroopers as they open fire in his direction.

Djanik was on his way out to get something to eat, to try and get spiders off the mind, when he heard a sound he knew entirely too well.

Those are TIE fighters.

The howl of twin Ion engines roared overhead, and glancing toward the city center, he saw the action coming. It was the first time he'd been on the other side of it - the first time he'd realized how horrifying the oncoming fighters howling could be. How menacing the stomp of boots and heavy churning of occupier treads would be to an unarmored, dismounted man.

Ducking into the shadows, he watched the procession pass, feeling his hands shake. This was a hell of a show of force.

And then he heard the first thundering rumble of blaster fire, the tenor barks of explosions as laser cannons began tearing through homes.

Something in him snapped, driving him back out of cover, toward the carnage.

What can I do? I'm just one man!

I don't know. There must be something.

Think!


An idea came to him as he ran closer, stupid, reckless, and perhaps useless. If there were people trying to flee, the commander would have a handful of scouts on overwatch with scanning equipment - if he could disable some of those sensors, maybe he could help some people escape.

As he neared the position he knew would be hosting one sensor, he saw an AT-ST on station, looming over the street below. It was his best shot - if he could just interfere a tiny bit with the antennae, he could be off before they knew what happened.

Climbing the side of a nearby house, he clambered up behind the walker, and was just beginning to reach over the edge of the roof toward the scanners when something hit the AT-ST, sending it reeling into the house he was standing on.

The walls crumbled, and the walker took a few steps to regain it's balance, before turning and firing at whatever had struck it.

From his place in the rubble, Djanik dragged himself to his knees, and then crawled back, away from the carnage, using the snapped off sensor antenna as a makeshift crutch.

What had come over him. Was he insane?

Nearly dead, and not even on purpose.

What a joke.

On the way over to the enclave, Mia was having fun with her pet spider. She was letting it crawl all over, the only time someone was allowed to walk all over her. There was so much fun to be had that she didn't notice the gathering troops until the first shots were fired. Her little pet scrambled to the nearest, safest, darkest place nearby: Mia's mouth.

"Stop, mhmhm!" she exclaimed, trying her best not to kill the little guy in her mouth. She was sworn to protect him, just like these people. Wasn't easy to calm her nerves, though, with little legs constantly pricking at her tongue, the roof of her mouth, her gums... and only just then did she think to put her scarf over her mouth to partially conceal her identity. The little guy was stuck in there for now.

Mia ran forward to a nearby dumpster and began pushing it forward. She grunted as she pushed it forward to serve as cover for the fleeing Aznuri. Once done, she waved them away, unable to really voice it otherwise due to her unfortunate predicament.

The slowest one, though, was right in blaster shot range. Mia did her track run, hoping to push the intended victim out of the way and dodge the shot at the same time. That plan really didn't work out, since she was definitely shot right straight in the chest. She gasped, the spider did its best not to fall down her throat, having to actually climb back out to her teeth.

But she wasn't down. Mia kept running until she was in safety. She ripped off her scarf and put her hand out for the spider to come out. It was taking awhile for the little guy to come out...

It hadn't been Daunt's fight. Until his witch changed that by getting involved. Amid fire, smoke and blaster burns, he learned fear.

His body might have been ready, but his mind was apparently not. Haze he couldn't banish, the haze beyond his eyelids, overcame his senses, dulled his reactions. He snorted like an angry bull and threw himself recklessly into the thicket, mindless of the falling trees, trying to find a passage to the enemy, to put out. Fear spurred him toward indiscriminate violence. It ended up being against infrastructure that, once toppled, could have stopped the advance of Stormtroopers.

Alas, in that moment, even his strength was failing. Fear changed into anger, anger into desperate thirst for disproving his weakness. This was not how he had been conditioned.

Here, at the ruined hut, against a wall of fire, he'd make a stand. Zhaboka drawn, he charged. And he killed. One grunt. For the price of being bolted with blaster fire. Whatever minuscule difference he made by this, it wouldn't allay the loathing he felt for himself. A mental wound that would fester.

the nemoidian now called Bowze sat comfortably beside a sleeping ithorian on the bus that was bringing back the improvised seasonal farmhands back to the city. He had made a solid effort and was quite proud of it.

He glanced at his fellow berry picker and opted to learn from his wisdom by taking his own nap.

It had been a good day. Perhaps even a good week, all things considered.

The moment he closed his eyes was the moment an imperial walker's guns unleashed a barrage near them, forcing the driver to swerve frantically before coming to a full stop, giving the passangers a front row seat to witness an unleashed machine of death.

Bowze stood in awe of the massacre. He could not believe it. Why here, why now?

He understood when he saw the flash of red plasma in the distance: The same type of presence as Dooku. No...the same as Sidious.

A shiver took hold of him, his muscles nearly paralysed with spasms. He was afraid. He wanted to flee but he knew he could not just run away from this. He was probably already dead anyway.

Shambling down the bus and into a deserted alley he took up his comm and put attached it to his ear. He calmed himself and made a call...one that would cost him but could help him with the gamble he was about to take

Aznuri warriors taking orders from...a laowai? That was not going to happen but Bowze was insistant.

The situation was dire. Despite his expert tactical planning the Empire's force was just too numerous. Lasers and grenades flew in all directions. The enclave was pure chaos but, at least some civilians had been allowed to escape thanks to his warnings. But it would be all for nothing if the black armored butchers were allowed to give chase. He drew a blaster pistol and made his stand with those who still were battle ready.

He never thought he would utter these words, he hoped he would survive them.

Compared to Captain Hrugos' antics in the Slums this was an insane escalation of violence. Xanna felt it before she heard the TIE fighters. The Force echoed with what was to come.

It didn't scare her though. The torrent of arms and armour just seemed to be background noise. Maybe it was the training eith Oraka, or perhaps it was the brush with all those Spiders, but she was not moved.

In fact, Xanna's resolve rubbed off on those Aznuri nearby and many rallies when they saw the blue girl seemingly unperturbed by the onslaught around them. Her icy calm bought them some time at least.

She thought about igniting her saber and leaping into the frey, but to what end? This was neither the time nor the place. She could probably do as much without a weapon as with one in all this chaos. In the end she mostly just used her own strength and endurance to protect the others who were fighting on her side. A blaster bolt meant for one of the Aznuri defenders knocked her off her feet, but that was about all she could manage. Holding her wound gingerly she did what she could in the face of the Empire's wrath. It felt like trying to stop the ocean.

But Petrus would trust in his friends. He would trust in himself. And he would trust in The Force.

Vaya reminded him that fear was a weapon of the Sith. Okay, so, he would do his best to turn away that weapon. He had already faced it within himself. It was easier, then, to face the enemy. To see where they were coming. To call out their positions. To warn others.

Of course, courage did not stop blaster bolts. The blasts from a strafing tie hit near Petrus, throwing him heavily to the ground. He coughed, spitting up dirt and blood. Rising, shaking his head, he hurried along, trying to find more survivors and guide them to safety.

After such a delightful afternoon plucking cramberries Dak was set to head home and maybe relax for a bit before heading out for more scavenging. But when he arrived in Rygor he saw the troopers congregating and heading toward the enclave. One man know knows the back roads can travel faster than a small army who must stick to main ways.

Dak arrived and snuck up to a perch with his weapon ready to take shots at the invading troopers. His heart raced as he heard the troops approaching. He held the scope up and scanned the troops. Their chances were bleak, they were outnumbered and out gunned it would take a miracle for them to save the Aznuri. But he would do everything he could to try.

Just then his scope landed on the inquisitor and he felt ice run through his veins, he hands trembled despite his best attempt to stop them and his breath was labored. Dak closed his eyes and took a few breaths attempting to steady his nerves. He opened and took aim during off a few shots into the coming army. He hit a few things but not enough to make a difference. Then his position was found out and a rain of blaster fire assaulted his perch. One bolt struck true as he felt a searing pain in his shoulder.

Dak crept down and took as many Aznuri as he could with him out of the enclave.

He was used to these things. Being a reporter took you into these situations regularly. Or so he thought. This was bad. Really bad.

To frak with the code. I have to do something. I can't just stand here and film it.

"Dray, Binky. Framing shots."

He ran to a nearby building that the Imps hadn't gotten to yet and tried his best to persuade the Aznuri inside to leave and run for better cover. Cover that wasn't going to be shot to pieces any time soon. They wouldn't listen to him. Wouldn't even let him in. He pleaded for them to leave and that's why he didn't hear the screech of the incoming TIE fighter. He did hear the strafing run and turned to watch the building behind him explode into flying rubble.

Several pieces of flying shrapnel caught the Newsie out in the open. Helpless and unarmoured. He went down in a crumpled heap.

Crowded street and hovels? Not really Astin's thing, especially when there were armies of storm troopers and the like trying to burn it all to the ground. There were people heere that needed help though and as a honorary member of he Resistance(tm) it was his place to help. Though as he weaved through the forest on his bike tryiing to get kids and the elderly out of danger he wondered if honorary was really the right word.

Unfortunetly the blaster fire kept him far away from most of those that really needed help, and he wasn't able to do much of anything in the way of saving. Until he managed to get in between a blaster olt and a couple kids. It hit him square on, but they managed to scuttle out of the ways. Forest kids scuttle right?

She could never remember, later, why she and Petrus had been out of doors. Was it an errand? Were they just taking a walk?

They heard it before they saw anything. The Imperial war machine was many things, but not quiet. The clank of walkers, the scream of TIE fighters and dropships. Then they saw the smoke.

Vaya smugly considered herself quicker on the uptake than most people, but she hadn’t realized until then the vast gulf between understanding what was happening and reacting. It didn’t matter how much earlier than Petrus she had put two and two together to make four, quickly correlating the evidence of her keen senses with all of her knowledge about how the world worked to understand, with terrible clarity, that what she had tried to warn Sister Hulia about the other day was coming true, at an awful magnitude.

What mattered was Petrus, running off in the direction of the Enclave, to do something. Even given the horror of the occasion, Vaya found herself smiling as she sprinted to catch up. She’d lamented, in her darker moments, that Petrus seemed an unlikely vehicle for the advancement of her spiritual enlightenment. Sometimes within his earshot (“If the Force was going to reach out and knock my whole life afterburners-fore-cockpit, couldn’t it have given me a fated encounter with a Padawan who wears pants?”). Those doubts were distant, now.

Before he outpaced her, she panted something to him that Hulia had said only yesterday. “The Empire is Sith,” she said. “All the stories… the Sith thrive on fear. Up close, the sound was overwhelming. She’d always hated the way TIE fighters grated against her antennapalps, and each blaster shot was like getting a stylus jabbed at the base of them. Worse were the noises of the people, even the safest of them torn by fear and grief.

She always thought mynocks got a bad rap -- they were survivors, and she respected their hustle. She looked for the ‘mynocks’ that had hung around the Enclave, hoping to guide others through whatever secret ways they used to avoid official notice, even using her infrabinocs to check for sewers or aqueducts. There was nothing, nothing that could save anyone near enough, even if she could convince the terrified residents to follow a strange laowai underground.

Her body wracked by the chemicals of stress and fear, she found herself no longer trying to help in any grand sense, but instead caught up in the maelstrom of the fleeing Anzuri. Together they tried to merely survive, and, perhaps, offer each other small kindnesses: a hand to lift the stumbling, a gesture towards a place presumed safe, a swallow of water from a bottle.

There came a moment when, at least where Vaya was, the attack ebbed, and an account of an ancient plague came unbidden to her mind: “...as if its energy was flagging, out of exhaustion and exasperation, and it was losing, with its self-command, the ruthless, almost mathematical efficiency that had been its trump-card hitherto.” She would be amazed when she took account of her injuries later, an array of burns, bruises, abrasions, blaster grazes. She remembered receiving none of them.

Following her brother into the fray Jenna wasn't far behind until she noticed something that needed aiding immediately, a small group of Aznuri trying to make their way through the Imperial onslaught to somewhere safe. However, they clearly had no idea how to go about so she quickly ran to their aid. Searching for somewhere safe, showing them how to move through the battlefield... like she had any idea how, she was only a thief. Just a thief out here in the middle of all this mayhem.

Didn't matter, she knew how to move unseen... but there was just too many of them, she and the Aznuri were spotted but she'd already noticed some cover. Shouting to the Aznuri drove the attention of the troopers away and she was able to pull most of the attention. They'd be safe, at least, she hoped. Now only came..

.. running, not the most uplifting sight to most but really it came close in hand with being a thief. Unfortunately it was not either the most inspiring sight in these trying times. Running toward an alleyway she tried to get out of sight as quickly as she could but as she was vaulting over a barrier the blaster bolts caused the rubble to give way and for her to tumble most ingloriously. Crashing down amid some debris and badly bruising herself up. For a while... she wasn't going anywhere if she didn't have to.

The unsubtle gathering of waves of Stormtroopers and military hardware were an easy signal to Jiam that trouble was coming, and imperial trouble was too tempting of a target for her. She wasn't sure what all the bad guys were up to, but if there was a chance to at least pick off a couple, she'd take it.

Slipping through deserted streets, she heard the attack commence somewhat distantly, before the entire environment seemed flooded with the sounds of destruction. Scrambling up to a balcony to observe a little, she saw immediately the major scale of this operation. Poodoo.

Rushing toward the nearest part of the fighting, Jiam found what she hoped was a good place to stash her backpack, and then stalked forward carefully, looking for any clues on how she could help.

With the enclave in total chaos, Jiam dug deep to maintain her composure and hatch a plan. The advantage for one person amid the smoke and noise was in staying in motion, striking and moving then striking again. One more deep breath, keeping her nerve, and talking herself through this. Just like hunting red dewbacks. Move fast, shoot straight, keep going.

The first two Stormtroopers that Jiam found really never stood a chance. Her blaster pistol had shot through the back of his helmet at close range and was firing into his comrade's back before the first body hit the ground. The second trooper was still alive when he hit the ground--for about half of a heartbeat.

Walking fast past the bodies, Jiam ducked down a narrow alley as a squad of troopers marched obliviously by on a cross street. She resisted the urge to tail them. Don't get greedy. Move fast, shoot straight, keep going.

When her next alley shortcut took her back to her stash, she picked up her hunting blaster and a grenade. From a convenient balcony, she saw two speeder bike pilots taking a moment of rest, and Jiam glopped both of those humans with her grenade. It was terribly unsporting to kill the men when they thought they were safe, but when the Imperials would target unprepared and innocent people at this scale, they shouldn't be surprised. Jiam's only regret was that she didn't have any weapons heavy enough to destroy the speeders.

Getting an idea, the Mikkian climbed down from her perch and approached the now abandoned bikes. An awning groaning under the weight of some rubble seemed a great impromptu tool for her bike destruction plan, and she got one shot into weakening the awning before a pair of Stormtroopers turned the corner behind her and fired off three bursts each.

To Jiam, the blaster fire lit up and shook the entire block. She was thrown toward a wall but not into it, and thankfully not toward the awning which collapsed as several more blaster bolts tore into it. Jiam stayed perfectly still, even slowing her breathing as she knew the troopers would look for continued activity.

It was painfully easy for the Mikkian to look like a dead pile of slum dweller. Seeing no movement, and perhaps eager to not have to explain the crushed speeder bikes if an imperial officer happened by, the Stormtroopers sauntered off to continue their work. "Bastards," Jiam wheezed, probably not loud enough to be heard outside her own head.

The Aznuri Enclave is ruined and of the perhaps thousand or so residents perhaps three hundred survived, and many of those are wounded, physically and/or emotionally. Sister Viati guided many to the slums to squat in abandoned structures with only the most ardent refusing to leave after the Imperial massacre. The region is now heavily patrolled by storm troopers and the local news claims that a major Resistance Safehouse was defeated by the Empire.

Sister Hulia survived defending her people but was severely wounded by Captain Hrugos who shot her in the back just as Brother Sloan arrived to find her. She has slipped into a deep coma and the people are unsure if she will ever recover.

It is a dark day for the Aznuri, they remember those that fought for them but many are reluctant to go to the laowai who they feel largely abandoned them to this fate. Their numbers will lessen with the coming days as many consider relocating to Jaklu far from the hell hole of the city.
