[D2 LM] Change of Plans (Floats' Shop)

It was supposed to be a normal day. Go out and do some salvage, hunt some bounties, nothing out of the ordinary.

What was out of the ordinary was the place she was heading to, the shop of what might have been the most awkwardly harmless seeming person she'd met, full of Imperials with a big shattered hole in the window.

Sacha ran her hand down her mask. "What the kriff..."

She floats off in the water, disappearing into the inky blackness.

"Some of the older divers used this when parts for respirators got scarce during the war. I know you got a whole thing where you can't show anyone your face, so I thought 'why not get something to go over the mask' and boom! Here we are."

She jumps into the water with a splash and beckons to Sacha to follow.

It's quite a bit darker underwater as the ocean currents stir up plenty of silt and the like, but they're shallow at the moment and it's certainly enough to see by

Floats gives the universal 'are you okay?' hand signals as she effortlessly circles around Sacha, checking the Mando wasn't about to immediately start drowning.

Floats returns the thumbs up and leads them deeper along the sea bed until they come across the huge wreck of a skimmer that looks like it was once used to transport ores. The massive vehicle lies on its side, and from the growth on it and the small schools of fish which appear to call the former boat home, it's been here for a while.

Sacha followed, seemingly very interested in the ship itself. Maybe there was something useful in it as well that hadn't been worn away by water or stolen.

Once they reach the actual wreck Floats make some more hand gestures, indicated a large hole in the bow. 'going in here, your plans?'

The two are moved side to side by the currents but its remarkably still down here, although ever once in a while a larger fish or smaller shark can be scene eying up the schools of fish hiding within the boat.

While scavenging a boat did feel a bit like grave-robbing (grave-robbing of a particularly noble and beautiful body) Floats felt that desperate times meant desperate measure, so there's another thumbs up. Scavenge free might Mandalorian!

Meanwhile, the Mandalorian examined the components, carefully removing important things that she could use. She was honestly surprised to have found anything, but not ungrateful. At least now she could say she was "paid" for her time doing this. It would be weird to help some outsider for no apparent reason aside from she had felt like it.

Meanwhile floats digs under some seats in an officer's cabin and retrieves a huge waterproof duffel bag. Change of clothes, some money, a commlink, spanners, a cuddly boat toy. Now she had her essentials.

She lazily swims out and witnesses Sacha getting her loot on and is a little impressed.

Sacha wraps up the delicate components that she'd managed to extract from the boat, placing them carefully away before gesturing toward the surface and cocking her head. Ready to go back?
