[Day - 2 LA] Fire and Flames [Event RP Thread]

"I'll always be in your heart," Mia said, tapping her chest. She then smirked. "You won't be missing me so much, I'm just going to be busy."

She looked around at the continuing chaos.

"Can't convince people to join our cause here of all places. After, though, that's when I'll get the people. Then we need to figure out the logic, irm, logistics."

Now it was her turn to give a hug. She had gotten used to having Mia around, more than she would admit.

"Be careful."

[Jurdak Surt]

Jurdak settled himself and looked up he steeled his mind and pushed off the wall moving through the crowd with a more calm but alert demeanor, focused on the goal.

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

"Do you know him?" He asked Xanna as he jabbed the stim's needle on the man's right ass cheek "That hair looks right out of a telenovela"

She shook her head even managing a small smile at the droid's antics. "He is probably one of these holo-show stars that I have been hearing about. Our new junior assistant dishwasher is a big fan."

Xanna reached down and held the pretty man's hand as Bowse injected his rear with stims. "It is going to be fine, but you will soon need to move." She considered just slinging him over her shoulder.

There are awakenings and then there are AWAKENINGS!!!!! This was the latter. Ria'la yelped and sat up quickly staring wide eyed at the sudden double blue vision. There were a couple of cuts to his cheek and his clothes were ripped in places from the flying rock shrapnel.

"What the frak happened?!?!?!"

[Bowze Coppa]

There are awakenings and then there are AWAKENINGS!!!!! This was the latter. Ria'la yelped and sat up quickly staring wide eyed at the sudden double blue vision. There were a couple of cuts to his cheek and his clothes were ripped in places from the flying rock shrapnel.

"What the frak happened?!?!?!"

''Imperial assault'' Bowse replied quickly, looking around. ''Can you move? We are too exposed here''

As if on cue a shell fell nearby, showering the trio with dirt

[Xanna Teevou]

Xanna looked a little worse for wear herself, streaked by rock dust, blood, and goodness knows what else. The wound in her side seemed to have stopped bleeding, for now.

"Welome back. It looks as though a building took some damage for you, but some of it fell on you. Your hair seems to be remarkably resistant though." She looked at the beeping droid. "Yes, he's awake, I can see that thank you."

Most of the survivors appeared to be moving along. "I agree with Bowse. We should keep moving in case they come back for another sweep."

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

"Yes, quite . . . "

He looked to be still a little shocked.

"Dray, Binky keep filming."

Dray beeped and swooped off immediately. Binky was slower to obey.

<I am happy master is functioning again.> was intoned before he moved off to hover alongside them.

[Bowze Coppa]

The nemoidian raised his head to spot an opening while listening to the Imperial communucations in his earpiece.

''There is an opening...'' he halted for a second ''...now! Run to the next cover!''

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

Even while confused from the possible concussion his hair was covering for him, Ria'la still picked up that the Nemoidian appeared to have an in on the Imperial assault comms.

"How did you . . . . no matter. Tell me when we're safe."

[Ru'ni Wayne]

Viati nodded her thanks to the witch and said quietly, “Well you have my thanks, perhaps I judged you to quickly.”

When Viati's condition improved under the ministrations of the witch, Ru'ni released a breath it seemed he'd been holding in for hours. Despite his own wounds, he moved to Viati's side and draped one of her arms over his shoulder to lend her what strength he had left, for the time to evacuate was drawing close.

[Jenna Karath]

Given time, she was able to remove the bits of rubble that actually toppled onto her from the low wall herself. Some bruises, ones that hurt more than others, she was rather alright... generally speaking. Troopers must have taken her tumble to mean something more and they didn't elect to pursue, perhaps too many others to focus on. So she sat there, for a moment, in the alleyway just feeling her hurts to bring her back to her senses.

Wasn't going to be doing any crazy running like that again.. wasn't even sure if she helped those people, the not knowing was killing her.

[Jurdak Surt]

Dak led a group of Aznuri out to the streets and down a certain alley way, one in which he saw a familiar face sitting "Jax? What are you doing here?" He asked curiously.

[Jenna Karath]

"I.. ah," she tried to move and felt the pain swell up a bit more, dusting herself off a bit she moved to stand. Struggling, pushing her hand hard against the wall for support.

"Suppose I got convinced into some really bad decisions, ones that led to me brushing up against, Ahh-" she seethed from the pain, she wasn't a soldier. Pain wasn't something she knew how to contend with.

Dak nodded "well come on let's get you out of here." Dak said before moving behind he and swooping under her arm so she could put her weight on him as they walked "I get it, didnt think you would be doing this, it's all insane" he looked down at her and smiled "welcome to war kid."

[Juri Saizesh]

"Then I think we both suffer from contraction of imagination." He shivered ever so slightly under the touch, cooling against his burns. "Yes and no. I am here because of you, but it's been my choice."

"I didn't have a choice." She responded. Looking at him, she tried to smile. "This is too close to home, for me." Her lips pursed into a frown. "This time... maybe we can stop it."

[Daunt]

"You're getting it wrong, Juri. You win if you pick your battles, not when you jump into the first one that happens." He didn't try to smile. He was not up for smiling given the circumstances.

"Okay, it looks like we are safe again. For the moment. What do you think Bowse?" At least they were no longer being shot at or shelled.

"Okay, it looks like we are safe again. For the moment. What do you think Bowse?" At least they were no longer being shot at or shelled.

It seemed so but the lanky man had spent his last energies on that sprint.

''Let me...'' he tried to catch his breath ''...check a minute.'' he readjusted his commlink twice

The first time he called out to see if anybody was left.

The second time he said nothing and listened

''They seemed to have moved on with the massacre but we still should watch our for the rear guard.''

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

Ria'la looked straight at Bowse.

"You have an in on their comms? Don't you?"

[Bowze Coppa]

Bowze glanced between the two cam droids and gave the prudent reply

''I don't know what you mean''

He tried to look innocent

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

"I know some people who dearly need that kind of intel."

He looked around.

"Make that many people. It could save lives."

[Bowze Coppa]

''*If*...and I say *if* I had that intel then I would already used it as best I can in the current situation'' he said, frowning, as he glanced around for signs of trouble.

''I would have done what I could *if* I had such a thing.'' he took some time to relax and refocus on what could be done

[Ria'la Tu'roth]

Ria'la stared at him for a moment and then waved off both droids. They hovered for a moment and then turned to film a squadron of TIE fighters swooping down on another pass.

"I'll accept that. There's nothing much we can do to stop this now. However, we can stop things in the future if some folks good at resisting the changes had the intel."

[Bowze Coppa]

He seemed to relax after the drone focused on something else

''I am not how long I'll have access to this'' he admitted. ''I barely got it in time to make use of it during the attack''

Dak nodded "well come on let's get you out of here." Dak said before moving behind he and swooping under her arm so she could put her weight on him as they walked "I get it, didnt think you would be doing this, it's all insane" he looked down at her and smiled "welcome to war kid."

Jenna hesitated, at first, she knew where she met him and the trust wasn't... but he was here now, just like her, what does that even mean anymore? Letting him help her up she used him for support, walking alongside him and trying to gain a sense of how to move with the bruises. "Not much of a war," she glanced around. "Imperials are trying pretty hard though.. not sure what a," she paused, stopped herself, "person like me has any right doing this but here I am. Better, or worse."
