Dak woke up early and did his usual workout which included a jog into the city, even if he wasnt an operative anymore he still wanted to stay on his A game. Once in town he headed to the entrance of the Industrial Region that housed the foundry he intended to check. All signs pointed to the Foundry for being where their query was hiding so he told Daunt to meet him there at this time.

Daunt arrived sooner than Dak could have anticipated. He must have been around? "So, what's the plan, partner?"

Dak nodded "well I did some looking around and everything I got pointed toward the foundry. Not sure why she is here but hey if she got in it's a good place to hide, hard to access makes it less likely to bump into someone." He waved daunt forward and approached the access point to the industrial region. "Official bounty business will likely get us in but we will probably be under watch so we have to be on our best behavior."

"Best behaviour would be my surname if I had one. Let's go." Daunt reassured Dak in a deadpan tone.

The guards ask for the pair's paperwork or security badges.

Dak nodded to the guard and presented his bounty hunter ID along with a copy of the bounty he was after "Here tracking a bounty, word around town is to checkout the foundry. You wouldnt to recognize her would you?" He nodded towards Daunt "This here is my back up he isnt licensed yet but I'm just showing him the ropes."

[Daunt]

Daunt just took the cloak to the back, revealing most of his armour. "It's what my partner says. It's how justice works."

[Dapper Dog]

The guards seem confused and look at Daunt and then the bounty hunter and say, “Not familiar but this all looks good. There is a cantina just down the road, best place for your lot to gather info. Don’t cause trouble.”

"Understood, sir." He said with a slight inclination of his head, it's best to show deference with these types if it doesnt cost anything.

Dak motioned for Daunt to follow and moved through the streets looking for this cantina "Now we got some of the dryer leg work to do, trying to dig up a lead on our girl. It's kind of like looking for animal tracks, people just leave trails of a different kind. Requires a slightly different skill set, sometimes some credits but the guard was right cantina around here will be the best place to start." He finished as they pulled up in front of the building.

[Daunt]

"I am short on charm and credits. But if you want me to try to squeeze someone or play the nice guy to my bad guy, be my guest, Dak. Whatever works." He started walking. "Let's go get an early drink then?"

Dak followed him in to the building and looked around "probably best to start with the bartender. They usually know a good amount of what goes down in their bar." He said as he walked up to the bar "Hey there, I got a couple questions for you friend."

There was a group playing cards with the lady in question.

Dak noticed their target at a table and leaned close to Daunt "Well that's our girl. Think you can scare off her entourage?" He asked quirking an eyebrow at his large companion

[Daunt]

"I can try if this is the approach your recommend." Daunt said. "Just shut off the most likely exit route maybe."

[Jurdak Surt]

"I'd rather talk to her alone, the more people around the more likely they'll jump to her defence. This might become a fight either way, though I don't youd have a problem with that." He said grinning

[Daunt]

Daunt nodded and approached the man by the table who looked as the greatest possible obstacle. He laid his hands on his the man's arms.

"I think you need to go take a piss. This is my place for now."

OOC: yeah I'm looking as menacing as possible and standing behind the bounty facing the guys. If she tries to get up I'll put a hand on her shoulder.

The workers decide that today isn't the day to be brave.


The woman smirked and said, "Well see now you ruined my paycheck boys... but if your playing I am in."

[Daunt]

"I am Daunt. We may indeed play a game. My friend here has an idea for a twist on the rules." Daunt sat before the woman. "Care to listen?"

[Dapper Dog]

"Oh boy tough guy bounty hunters, look here's 1600 credits in the pot, take it and kriff off," she gestured.

"Otherwise things are going to get real interesting for you, real quick."

Dak sits down across from the lady and he sets his blaster rifle on the table business end at her. It's set to stun but she doesn't know that. "Well under any other circumstances I would love to play cards with such a beautiful lady however I'm afraid this is a business visit. You see, you've made someone very upset and they have put a bit of a price on your head. Now, the easy way we do this is you put these on" he sets some binders on the table "get up and come with us. The hard way is you fight, we have to beat you up, you still get binders put on and then my very large friend carries you like a sack of dry gene wheat back to the bounty office. Makes no difference to me, we get paid either way."
