[Day 1 - LA] Tugging at threads

"I'm curious to see how it goes," Mia said with a genuine smile. Things like that could be mightily useful for a rebellion in the making.

"Really now? Well, maybe we ought to go out there sometime." Mia gave a smirk. "You look like you can handle yourself in more than just the gym, after all. Gotta be able to apply that stuff outside, ya know?

"But yes, we should find it sometime. Not sure if I have the time right now, honestly, but I am interested in going."

"I will be sure to let you know how it works out Mia. You can always stop by the soup kitchen if you want to find me. We could go to the gym some time this week?"

The talk of handling herself in a fight got her thinking it would be nice to train with someone else for a change. And those wrecks? That could be a good field trip.

"And yes, maybe we should plan a trip? There are groups who live out there, but if we stay out of their way it should be fine."

Mia nodded in agreement on all terms. She was, however, curious about the last bit. "What's wrong with the folk out there? They can't be less friendly than the Hutts, can they?"

Xanna shrugged at the question. "I do not think that they are worse that the Hutts, no. Highly territorial, yes. I hear they demand tribute." She tapped her lip. "I am guessing they have no love for the present state of things... You know, we could simply go to visit them first? Ask them what we should contribute in exchange for access?" It could be a good excuse for a field trip.

"I suppose we could do that. Maybe they'll even end up helping us," Mia said with a grin, "We're two friendly folk. We might just be able to win them over."
